Do you guys know any way around the "Damage2Animal" Law besides Antilaws? Ezel just isn't carrying the antilaw for it or even an R6 - and even if he did it comes around so regularly it's not even worth it to barter for the R6 antilaws... is there ANY way to work around this law if you find yourself in an engagement with (inevitably) all beasts?

and not in the main FF tactics game (either the original or the remake).

So you might want to contact someone who has played those.

I have played tactics advance one for the Gameboy advance but not tactics advance 2.

So you need to be more specific about which tactics advance game you are playing.

I believe it would be FFTA just guessing here however I have yet to encounter a no damage to animal/monster law in any other game in the FFT series, FFTA rolls the laws round in a calendar based pattern whereas the laws in FFTA2 will be the same for each mission no matter what day it is you perform the mission I'm not actually sure which of the two systems I prefer.

If I am right then the easiest way to utilize your party to stop the enemies is to simply get a hold of some beast masters/white mages (nu mou) and some red/white mages (viera) your entire team should consist of just these two types of units. Use your red+white mages to sleep most enemies you can't control and cast protect+shell and any restorative magic you need on your party. Now using the beast masters take control of the awake enemy monsters and use those to smack up the other monsters go for the most advantageous attack position, move each monster behind the target or attack only when they're asleep because they need to deal as much damage as possibe. This should deal with most of the problems you'll encounter, though the last monster might require you to accept a few yellow cards or a single red card on a member unless it has a move which can target itself such as an area of affect attack (though you can simply head over to the prison to buy them out again) since you're not actually doing damage to monsters they're hurting each other. The only other tactic which might work is to simply do damage to the enemy by utilizing counter moves which are triggered by the enemies attacking you and don't often count towards the laws. If the judge is having none of that then try my first option, that or simply abandon the field and wait for more favourable laws even towards the end game where 3 laws come in to effect at once you can still just wander around more until the laws will be favourable thats half the tactics involved in the game, learn what will be in the enemy team, learn how to utilize the laws to your favour, even law cards can be useful, trigger a no damage to moogle card and have a moogle knight take all the hits from an enemy and eventually the judge should red-card that enemy.

Hope that helps

IIRC, the only way to get completely around that law is to use Reaction Commands. Any command made against a monster will result in a yellow or red card (whether it does damage or not), but Countering their attacks will not. You can win the entire fight by countering and healing.

STONE. Petrify, etc.

doesnt work, using these skills results in a red card.

skyblade gave you the right tactic to deal with this but,

its much easier to take 4 or so steps on the worldmap so the law is no longer active, although I am not sure if this works on that one mission where you have to beat alot of beast to get to amberville.
