Hahaha, how horrible is this? xD (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/asia-pacific/8432887.stm)

I'd be inclined to like the bigger parking spots, but jeez. Different sense of direction! :freak:

Don't get me wrong, I love big spots, and it'd be nice for them to be cute, but not because the gov thinks I'm a bad driver with a retarded sense of direction. :(

Ahahaha I love it.

Official Wang Zheng told AFP news agency the car park was meant to cater to women's "strong sense of colour and different sense of distance".

And by "different" he means "worse."

I had to re-open the window and check one last time that the article wasn't from The Onion. And then I promptly died. xDDDD

I can't help but wonder why they didn't make one for the men too.

Although I'm not speaking about all men, I'm pretty sure my step-dad could drive his truck into a parking space the size of a quarter.

Any women who are offended by this need to bear in mind that it's their own fault for being such terrible drivers.

BA-ZING!

The worse drivers are drivers who think they're not bad drivers.

Which is all women drivers.

I hear more men say they're good drivers than women, so I'll let you ponder that one for a moment.

That sentence doesn't make much sense.

I know few men that can drift corners like I can, probably zero women.

Now all we need is seperate roads and motorways for women, and we'll be free of road accidents forever!

Now we just need to make a separate lane with bumper cart sides and they'll be all set.

That sentence doesn't make much sense.

I hear more men say [[that]] [they're good drivers] than [I hear] women [say [[that]] they're good drivers], I'll let you ponder that [one] for a moment.

It's weird that I of all people had to do that.

Lol! ........... I actually wouldn't mind having wider parking spots. Not gonna lie!

Maybe soon the gay males will get their own spots too, with Judy Garland playing in the parking areas and helpful queens to direct you. After all, it doesn't get much more different and colourful than being a homosexual male.
Contributing to this is China's male to female ratio.

If you really suck at parking in small spaces that much, why not just get a smaller car? :jess: plus, isn't bay parking (reverse & front) part of your driving test in other places?

I drive a KA, one thing I love is that I can squeeeeeeze into the smallest spaces that nobody else can :D but, I can park just as easily driving other cars. I must say I prefer front bay parking to reverse bay parking, though - and all my male friends prefer to reverse xD

I drive people mad when I park because I'm OCD about parking perfectly straight. People in my car are always like "YOU'RE STRAIGHT!!!!" but I'll still have to straighten up to how *I* like it. that's just me being weird, though. :jess:

The states have small cars?

Hahahah, parking is half the reason why I'm not letting myself buy a truck (the other half is that the feeling of actually being taller and above everyone for the first time in my life would go to my head and make me an aggressive driver of the likes no one has ever seen). My car is kind of long, so backing out of a spot is a total pain when I don't have a friend to help check my sides and behind and assure me that I'm not going to wreck someone's car.
