They say about 8% of men and 0.5% of women are color blind. So let's do a little test here, just to know who sees life like me ! Personally, purple practically doesn't exist for me, and I have a hard time with green.

Here are my answers :
1) 25
2) 70
3) nothing
4) 56
5) nothing
6) nothing
7) 2

Obviously, I can't confirm the normal color vision numbers.

I sometimes wonder if it is possible that different people see the same object as different colors, but it is accepted to be the same name so there is no way to tell. :|

I have that thought from time to time. A nice way to kill an hour or two.

Oh, and I'm normal, apparently.

Wait where's the exorcist girl or whatever it was? I'm sad now.

Yeah, I've wondered this too.

I passed this test with flying colors. Har har, geddit? Now, if you gave the blindness test I would most likely fail.

I've wondered the same concept about a lot of things. Colors and tastes/flavors are a common one though. And I thought women couldn't be color-blind. Or is there a type of color-blindness not associated to a genetic defect? 'Cause the defect causing it is supposed to only be on the Y chromosome. Meaning only men can be genetically color-blind

Colour blindness has always interested me. What would purple look like to you, Inferno? Gray?

Oh, and I passed the test~

For me, at least, I just have trouble differentiating the color purple from the color blue. There are some other combinations that I have issues with that make my life difficult though.

Women can be colorblind although it occurs far less than male colorblindness. I believe many women are carriers of the gene/trait that causes colorblindness but most don't have it themselves. My mother was a carrier of the gene and wasn't colorblind, though both myself and my brother are. My younger brother isn't, however.

My color blindness confuses colors that are alike--

Red and orange are hard to differentiate
Orange and yellow can be hard to differentiate
Red and yellow are easier to distinguish

Green/Brown, Blue/Purple, Pink/Purple.

I always get yelled at by kids at work, "I wanted the BLUE toy, not the PURPLE one. :mad2:"

It's funny. I can see color but I can't see the numbers... :(

Got them! I'm normal apparently. It makes up for my shortsightedness, I guess?

I can see them all clearly! Now the rain has gone...

I passed the test although I'll admit I needed to look at the last 3 for about 5 seconds to see the numbers.

I passed, and immediately saw all numbers, so I'm in the green, as it were.

I got all of them easily except the 6 and the 5 towards the end. I got them both correctly, but I had to stop and take a good look. That 5 one is clearly hax anyway, it's made up of blue, yellow and green. :colbert:

My results:
#1: 25
#2: Maybe a 70, could be a 20
#3: Nothing
#4: I can see a faint 56 if I really concentrate, but at first I saw nothing
#5: Nothing
#6: 5
#7: It doesn't look like a number at all to me. If I had to guess a number it would be 8 or 5.

I already knew I was colorblind, though.

99 times out of 100, I see blue. If it's too red/pinkish I'll just say pink.

One time, on a rainy day... I saw orange grass!

So it's like being on mushrooms all the time.

I passed them all, but the last one looked more like a three to me. Upon closer inspection I could discern that it was some strange sort of 5 though.

We did this test in my Color & Design class last semester. I couldn't see anything for #5 but like 10 minutes after everyone said what it was, I saw it.
