She is a follower of of the religion of Saint Elimine, and very much loves her best friend Raven, who she follows around like a puppy.

She was basically orphaned as a kid as her father was murdered and her mother died from sickness, but she harbors no grudge for this. Probably because of her religion, but every game medieval type game needs at least one religious nut, right? Right. She's rather gentle, but stubborn, mostly towards Raven. Because it is tru wuve.

Tsubaki is a member of the Library. No, not THAT Library. The Novus Orbis Librarium (NOL), or Library for short basically run the world of BlazBlue. Most people generally hate them and they feel they are oppressive, even though they claim to do what's best to keep the peace. But anyway, Tsubaki went to school to become a member of the NOL, and eventually did along with two of the other main characters Jin Kisaragi and Noel Vermillion. She is generally pretty serious, and a straight A student. She plays a pretty small part in Calamity Trigger though, now that is she a main playable character in Continuum Shift we'll get to know all kinds of juicy tidbits about her~ (Hopefully) Spoiler for the end of the first game: She's actually been tasked to kill Jin and Noel in Continuum Shift as a plot by Hazama; he's marked the two as traitors to the Library due to the events of Calamity Trigger. So yeah, lots of nice drama in Continuum Shift at least. She is also going blind due to the power of her Nox Nyctores, noes! =O ....Explains the weird eye thing in her getup?

It is my personal favorite Ar tonelico 2 character, Jakuri! Spelled Jacqli in the English localization, but the English localization sucked, so no one cares. Also known as Mir (Mule in Japan) in the first game, as the main villain. In Ar tonelico 2, she is a main playable, and even datable, character.

So, for those who have no played Ar tonelico, a Revyateil is basically a man-made all female race that uses song magic, so there is lots and lots of singing in this series. xD Origin and β Types live a lot longer than humans, obviously. So anyway...

Most about Jakuri is actually a spoiler, considering her role in the series. In the first game, she had come to hate the whole human race for how they had treated her in the past, and wanted to kill them all and create a utopia for just Revyateils. After she lost, she decided to leave the floating island the first game takes place on and go to another floating island - Metafalss, the setting for Ar tonelico 2. For a good while, you don't know Jakuri's motivates for being there, and she doesn't join because she wants to, but because it is convenient for her. Basically for a good while Jakuri hates you, but warms up eventually even if she doesn't show it. She enjoys creating stories, as her cosmosphere (Her mind, basically, I can't explain every Ar tonelico term, dammit! xD) shows. She acts cold and distant at first, but isn't really as hateful as she lets off, and can says some pretty hilarious things with a straight face. Honestly, I could say more, but it's really, really hard to describe her without a whole bunch of spoilers. Trust me when I say she is awesome! xD

Inaruna is both a spellcaster of the "Light" element and a princess. Character-wise, she's the cutest by far. Battle-wise, she's well-balanced, learning both two of the game's best support skills as well as a great offensive light-elemental spell which gives Ashley nightmares in Wi-Fi battles.

...it's also worth noting that if you get Inaruna's ending, you unlock a cute picture of her in maid outfit. Too bad I don't have the game CG. But then again, her normal outfit is more than good enough.

Luminous Arc 1 might be difficult to find in stores, as it's pretty old. But it should at the very least be easy to find online (eBay etc) for a decent price. Luminous Arc 2 should still be possible to find in stores, but I can't guarantee it... so eBay might be you best bet there as well.

LA1 has an overall better story than LA2, but the battle-controls are kinda bad (could have been a lot better at least). LA2 has improved battle-controls and battlesystem in general, but the story's not quite on par with LA1's.

Luminous Arc 3 has yet to get an english release, but is far superior in every aspect to the other two titles (except MAYBE story, since I don't really understand japanese, but judging by the events in the game, it's just as interesting or better than the other two titles). Wi-Fi battles in LA3 are also pretty smooth, and don't have to take 2 hours+ like they did in LA1 and 2.

Still, both LA1 and LA2 are good/decent tactical RPGs, and there are a few references to LA2 in LA3, so it might be worth trying them out before LA3 gets an english release (because LA3 is absolutely worthwhile. I mean... I even found it worthwhile in japanese, without understanding a single word, so yeah).

I was damned determined to make her my best character, but christ did it take some practice. I got lucky online and kept rematching a guy who was doing the same thing, and between the two of us we learned a lot of ways to use her effectively. :p

Yup! That's right folks, this time it's Leanne (a.k.a. Reanbell in Japan) from Resonance of Fate! (also a.k.a. End of Eternity in Japan. SEGA felt it probably wasn't best to just used the title of a famous book like that I guess.)

ANYWAY! RoF has a system where you can change your character's outfits and look at any time, so Leanne has plenty of looks! She's naturally a blond, but if you don't like it then mess around! ACTUALLY, she naturally has black hair, but yeah. HER DEFAULT IS BLOND.

Leanne is a 21 year old hunter, who works along side Zephyr and Vashyron. These are the only 3 characters you get for the whole game, but it works. They go around doing odd jobs, and cracking jokes for most of the game. Almost everything you learn about her background is a spoiler. She is also known as Subject #20, who was programed to die on her 20th birthday, which is Christmas. When she decided to die on her own terms she took a leap to her death only to be saved by Zephyr and now lives with them. How they survived the fall, and why she is still alive however, are big spoilers. Well, the second one is, the first one is just an acceptance that they did not become speed bumps on the road below.

Buy this game, it is delicious. Probably my favorite game this gen.

Leanne's a rarity in JRPGs. She's not 17. She's an ex-damsel-in-distress who can kick your ass now. Which almost never happens in JRPGs, usually they're either the damsel or the competent chick. She's both. She's cute but mature and totally not annoying. And they give her a -lot- of character. That's the biggest reason I fell in love with the game so much. Her and Vashyron are so amusing and well developed. I love their chemistry. Even Zephyr shies just far enough away from cliche for me to not hate his emo 17 year old guts :]

Well, it looks like it's time for another one! I've been finally playing the only Suikoden I have never played until now, the first one, soooooo, I'm going to use one of my favorite Suikoden characters... who was not in the first one.

But she was in the 2nd one and that one is better anyway, it's Sierra Mikain from Suikoden II!

She's a girl who around 800 before Suikoden II came across the Moon Rune (sometimes known as the Blue Moon Rune), being one of the cursed runes, turned her into a vampire. The Suikoden true runes almost always give immortality anyway, but the Moon Rune makes it's bearer crave for blood, so in order to escape it she ran into the forest and lived alone until a dying knight named Rean came and she took pity on him and made him a vampire as well. Over time others like him came to end their lives, and she made them all vampires, creating a sort of vampire village with the Moon Rune as the center so none of them had to drink blood.

One day Neclord stole the rune, making all the other vampires either die after losing the runes protection, or go out to eat on humans. Sierra was still technically the bearer of the Rune and Coven Mistress, as the rune still considered her so, so she doesn't need to drink blood anymore, but she goes out to put an end to Neclord and to the other vampires hurting humans, becoming a vampire hunter.

She seems to always be tired, as when you first find her in Suikoden II she is sleeping, but will eventually join your army to help defeat Neclord. She also appeared in Suikoden Gaiden, and likely married the main character of the Gaiden series, Nash, and in Suikoden III he often makes comments about how his wife would punish him for certain things. Sierra is certainly scary enough.

It's Nanaly Fletch from Tales of Destiny 2! You know, that Tales game that everyone confuses with Tales of Eternia because Namco was stupid and released Eternia as Destiny 2 in America and then never released the ACTUAL Destiny 2. Ooor... you might not know. It's more likely you don't. Non-Symphonia Tales games get no love. =(

She is a 19 year-old archer from Hope Town (Yes, it's really called that.) She is skilled with a bow and uses it to protect the orphaned kids of her village, so they do not met the same fate as her brother who died when she was 9. He had an illness that could be cured if they went to Elraine in Aigrette, but only on the condition that they stay in Aigrette forever and worship the god Fortuna. Nanaly refused and instead her brother died.

Most people mistake her for a tomboy due to the way she acts, she's rather headstrong and loves to put Loni into headlocks when he pisses her off. (Which is rather often.) She does have a feminine side; she loves to cook and sew. She mentions a dream of hers of one day being rescued by a dashing prince when she is in danger, but as Loni points out she does not need the saving. The only reason to try to go after her would be to save the kidnapper from Nanaly herself due to her violent nature. *Insert headlock and beatings towards Loni's vital areas here.*
