VG Babes of the Week

[Agent Proto]

Hi. Over the last few months, a small group calling themselves the (Members: Blues Agent, NeoCracker, Raven Nox, and Wolf Kanno) have been collecting babes for a totally complete secret project no one should absolutely know about. As of right now, we have a total collection of over three hundred babes in our secret album, and it's been my idea to decide to share what we have for this. Each week, we will showcase a video game babe and allow you to share your thoughts about her, whether its good or not. You are free to share extra pictures of the current babe of the week and whatnot. After the week is over, a new babe of the week will be posted and the process will start over from that.

Aside from that, let's start off with the first Video Game Babe of the Week.

As for Selphie, I've always had a bit of a grudge against her. Not only, but partly, because of her either useless or utterly broken limitbreak.

She's sporting a just tad too much plain-jane brown for my liking though. And I find video game babes with realistic hairstyles to be missing the point of being the babe of a video game.

It's actually a decoy, supposed to make the enemy think: "why the hell is she trying so hard to protect her left knee, while leaving the rest of her body completely exposed? Aha! She's must be covering up some secret weakpoint! Maybe all her vital organs are, in fact, stuck in her left knee!"

...and then they'll only focus on hitting that left knee. Isn't it clever? =O


Edit: After observing that picture some more, I can even see how her facial expression's basically saying: "Yeah, you go on and hit that knee, baby. I know you wanna do it."

...but maybe that's just me.

Yes, her secret third costume. It was really billowy, which was a real treat for the player on particularly windy stages.

Great to see that you didn't just go for the more typical choice of either Taki or Ivy. But I wish it would have been Cassandra. Great thing about Seong Mi-na is that she's quite noob friendly to use. Similar to Kilik, but slightly less well-rounded with slightly slower but more devastating moves. So often online, I come across rather unskilled players who abuse Kilik's simplicity (6AAA, 4B, 22_88AAA and nothing else) and I like to put them in their place with Seong Mi-na.

Seong Mi-na is one of my fav soul calibur characters ever, I remember playing SC in my old place of work back in the day on the dreamcast pod and I'd use her because one of the guys was way too experienced at fighting with Mitsurugi and made mincemeat of Killik's easily read attacks. One of my favourite things about Seong Mi-na is that sometimes her attacks would be almost unreadable and her combo attacks were generally shorter so if you missed and they went for the counter they had a harder time leaving you all parried out of shape because there'd be less hits to get a chance of countering. I eventually learnt how to use Siegfried really damn well which kinda made her a secondary character useful in team battles and not much else. As for looks, well it's always nice to see a woman knows one thing about going in to a sword fight: Wearing armour is for pussies, real fighters fight in bikinis!

She's pretty spoiled, since she's lived her whole life in a castle being waited on her whole life. But then Adell and his family have the nerve to summon her on accident when they tried to summon her father and then... act nice to her! How is a girl supposed to kill someone to get out of a contract if they're nice to them? Not to mention the guy wants to kill her father and she has to help by leading him to Zenon due to the contract, and it's seriously her first time out of the castle. Making her suck at directions. Hence Rozy's problem.

They're demons. There's Captain Gordon, Defender of Earth! in the first game who looks the oldest, but he's from Earth and only 30 something and the youngest of that group.

Yes, but both Rozalin and Etna are demons, and their ages are completely different, but Rozalin still looks older for some reason. Since CAPTAIN GORDON is human it makes sense he looks older but is not... I guess since Rozalin and Etna are from different Netherworlds, they age different or something. Awesome, I didn't even know they made a Luminous Arc 3. I haven't even played the second one, but the first one was awesome.The second one is basically an imporvment in battlesystem mechanics, but doesn't have a quite as interesting story. I like the LA2 characters more than the LA1 ones, with some exceptions.

Luminous Arc 3, however, is an improvment in pretty much everything. It's not out in english yet, but I've played the japanese version and as far as gameplay goes, Luminous Arc 3 beats both LA1 and LA2 by a lot. The battlesystem is very smooth for a tactical RPG, you can get around 9 or so different endings, there are a whole bunch of different sidequests and the Wi-Fi is also greatly improved. :greenie:

...and as far as babes goes, LA3 also takes the price. =D

Though she's one of my worse characters to play as, and I never seem to get used to her weird fightingstyle, I still like her. She's amusing, both to play as and play against (even though I suck with her).

I'm still hanging in there for my favourite SC chick to come up (Cassandra), but Xianghua is damn fine too. I don't use her much either; too many mixups and variable strings/combos to learn. She was a little more user friendly in SC2, though so was Ivy, Talim, Taki and just about everybody else.

Also, just as an FYI, her name means "fragrant flower".
