My friend from High School bought a Delorean right before he started college. xD

I own a Alero Oldsmobile in this color, except I have a sunroof on top as well, which is a mercy in the summer, since my air condition was shot and my Dad has never gotten around to fixing it... for two years.

http://images03.olx.com/ui/2/96/50/f_17429650_1.jpeg

I guess it's an OK car. I didn't pick it out. I think the color is rather ugly, but it has a nice leather interior. Huxley says I'm mean to my car and that it's a really cute car.

Seriously, Paul, let's trade cars, I love your car so much. Only thing is that what will all of the British Ass Driving going on, my car is much too big to survive. My car is hard enough to park in Amurica. You need a small car to not die in England.

More like I need a small car in order to pay the extortionate insurance payments. Driving is ridiculously expensive over here.

Pontiac Grand Am, in green. It gets me places and has decent gas mileage, but aside from that, it's not exactly making the panties drop. I have to use my natural charm for that.

The greatest car I've ever seen was owned by a guy at TheAbominatrx's high school. It was one of those super old Dodge pick-ups, just all mottled primer. Looked like crap. But it was on full hydrolics. xD So he could raise it, tilt it, bounce it, etc.

I have this eternal struggle with cars - I really am a car lover. I love tiny cute cars, like minis and bugs and the older Mazda Miatas. But at the same time, I love these amazing sleek models, like the newer Audi's and pretty much all Lincolns.

I never know which I'd choose when I upgrade (if I could even afford those, I suppose!)

I really want to get an first generation Nissan 240SX and turn it into a project car/daily driver since it'd be a 4-banger and a manual so it'd be a bit easier on gas than a damn SUV. :mad2:

I don't read everything here, and you don't have a license. It'd be a fairly safe assumption that anyone without a license wouldn't have bought a car.

My parents bought my car. To be honest, I wish they would have let me pay for half like I had wanted to - that way I could have actually had a say in which car I was bought. I actually wanted a car that cost half the price, but it was really cute and perfect for a first car, but they said no, because it had a small ding, and my Dad doesn't like hatchbacks, or anything that's not colored tan or champagne. Meh. I can't complain - a free car, it had not one ding when I bought it, and the mileage is hella low, which is why they bought it in the first place, I guess.

I'm thinking of saving up for a new car and buying a real cute little thing, and giving that car to my brother. Only thing is that my car handles SO well. It has power steering and it's reeeeeeeeally fast. Like, BAM, we're going 90 without even realizing, fast. And if I get a cute little thing, like a fat-bum hatchback or a VW Bug, it'll handle more like a bumblebee than a dragonfly. The drawbacks of cute vs sleek.

You people with free gas are luuuucky though! I have to pay my own gas and pay at least part of my insurance (at least that was low, though, because I have this good student discount thing going on - lol Geico thinking being a good student has anything to do with driving skills?) - and my job is hella faraway from where I live, so that ends up being easy 30-40 dollars in gas a week. :yuck:

@Fonzizzle - That truck is hottttttttttt. Oh my god, if I had a truck like that my impatience for other drivers would turn into full-bridled road rage since I could just plow through everyone. Maybe it's good that I only have a sedan right now.

My current car was my 18th birthday present, but I pay for everything for it myself; insurance, tax, petrol and repairs .etc

I think I'm gonna get a new Ford KA in black when the new plates come out (1st of March). It's so cute. :jess:

1990 Gold Volvo something-or-other. I don't speak car xD

Cost me exactly $0 as these really nice people who used to come into the shop I worked in gave it to me. Their three daughters all learnt to drive in it so it's got a few dings and scratches, nothing too big.

However back in the day when I had my Learner's I accidentally left the magnetic L plate on the bonnet in the sun for awhile. So yeah it melted on and now I have this chunk of black rubber stuck to the front of my car. It kind of looks like a cross between an elephant's head and a map of Tasmania xD
