I decided to colour the lineart using GIMP.
This is my first time trying to colour a piece like this so any input would be welcomed :)
Had a lot of trouble trying to find a decent skin tone
EDIT: Recoloured to improve the bad choice of colours in places. Skin is less pale now

Holy crap, how in the world did you make that using GIMP?
EDIT: Ah, I see, you used GIMP to color it. The shading seems pretty wonderfully done to me.

Haha, thanks.
Yeah, the line drawing (in another thread) was done before hand.
I just traced that, then coloured it

Although, a lot of it was redrawn, when I had wobbily curves (especially on the shinigami robe) to make it look better

nice use of shading. it must have taken awhile to produce that quality of work

The eyes should have been fixed before coloring; one is massively wider than the other! It is a simple coloring job and okay, but rather than tweezer that to death, I would rather point out how a person working in a digital medium should be aware of compression! If you look at any part of the image where the line art and coloring meet, you will notice how ugly these edges get; the mouth, collarbone, and eyes are particularly sore spots! Better compression when saving or setting save options which allow for better automatic compression should be looked into; your compositions would look smoother for them, I Don't Need A Name!

Can I just say.
1: I know the eyes aren't the right size, this was done from a drawing, and I didn't want to redraw it.
2: It's the very first time I've ever attempted anything like this, so I have no idea what the fuck compression is!
