I did my thesis presentation today and passed with an 8.5! (85%)

Whoo! I've graduated. I have a title now, how cool is that?

Topic: What did you have to celebrate lately?

p.s. The Ç stands for awesome.

'gratulations! (That's 85% of the letters from "congratulations" ;))

I don't have anything to celebrate at the moment, but I don't have anything to mourn or be bummed about either, so I'll use that as cause for celebration. :)

I went to a ball last night to celebrate living through a combat deployment.

That's fantastic! :)

I've not had anything to celebrate lately, really. I guess the closest thing I can think of is getting all A's on my papers I got back so far from last term. Nothing really.

It was pretty fun. When I say ball I mean like a real one where ladies wear dresses and fashion their hair and the men all wear their dress uniform. They have a ceremony, then dinner followed by dancing. It felt like Cinderella.

Military balls really look awesome. My roommate at college had boyfriend in Semper Fi, in this military university way up in Vermont, and they had two annual balls that were really wild and awesome. The pictures were great, everyone looked slick.

Good job!

Wow, it seems like everyone is getting good news lately. A bunch of my girl-friends on EoFF have just gotten nice jobs, and BtV just got a really awesome video game journalism job. This makes me happy. Yay economy rebound.

I have some maybe good news. I might actually have found one of the only places that will actually hire little foreign old me in England! A small fruit market that comes to the Uni on Mondays. xD It's actually a pretty good set up, if they hire me. Probably 2-4 hours between my two classes. The pay is probably minimum wage, but the work seems so easy, and I probably get free fruits and veggies, so it's worth it. It'll at least help pay for some drinks.
