Ever play a video game because of its soundtrack?

I'm getting pretty close to doing that right now because of the song in This video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?gl=CA&hl=en&v=kUr9e0KIrJ4&fmt=18) 3:52 onward.

If you did play a video game just for its soundtrack, what was it, and did you enjoy it in the end?

I wasn’t sold on Modern Warfare 2 but the soundtrack is amazing and the main reason I stuck with it. I would have enjoyed the game much less if it wasn’t for the music.

Silent Hill's music and atmospheric sounds in general are always the big selling point for me in SH games xD!

Totally agree. Nuclear Fusion (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FWDUCyo23I0&feature=related) from Unthinkable Natural Law got me playing the normal games again xD

When I was younger I used to play the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater games for their soundtracks.

I don't think I've ever played a game just based on it's soundtrack. However, soundtracks from games like the Myst series, Grim Fandango, Chrono Cross and a few Final Fantasy's have motivated me to keep playing as it adds to the overall atmosphere and experience.

I thought Lost Odyssey had a nice soundtrack. I probably would have stuck through it regardless, but that certainly helped. Well, and Mack smacking his cheeks during battle. Not a song, but it's a sound!

I don't play games that suck if their music is good, no. If I like the music I'll get the soundtrack from somewhere instead.

A game definitely has to have something besides just a good soundtrack for me to keep playing, though an overall good game can be made even better by having a memorable soundtrack.

I can agree with this. Although I geek out at the entire soundtrack. And the rest of the game for that matter.
