View Full Version : Guaranteed Tear Jerker

What is guaranteed to always make you cry?

For me, the only thing that can do it always is the Thai Life Insurance series commercials that are on YouTube. "Marry Me" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BOuHaTt2XUw&feature=related), "Daddy" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LR5mZqeDNtg&feature=related), and "My Girl" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RkoRDFjBh44) make me literally bawl my eyes out. :crying2:

This video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qCTLCNmnlKU) is really hard for me to stomach. It's horrible to think that someone can be so cruel to others, even though it's through the internet. I usually can shrug off stupid videos by trolls but the extent to which this guy goes hits home. Even now, I can't really watch it, because it really makes me pretty sad.

Yeah, that stuff is ridiculous. If being impervious to all insults and feeling good receiving them is cool, then I'm hip to be square.

I know this sounds corny but any horror movie where the male half of a couple dies always makes me go MOGI NOOOOOO ;_;! I saw like fifteen or twenty minutes of some movie where a guy who appeared to be in a relationship with a nearby woman was tied to a truck and an unmoveable object and the truck took off and I felt so sick.

When I have to help animals I'm close to at work "move on". Or be around when its their time. My one dog is getting old. And sometimes I'll randomly think about how she'll probably go someday soon. And it makes my eyes glisten instantly. I love that dog to death

Omg, don't even. :( Bawled like my life depended on it when I first saw Lion King.

Anything sad that has to do with dogs will make me cry. Marley and Me destroyed me. Cried for about the entire last 30 minutes of the movie, and then came home and read the real Marley's eulogy (Saying Farewell to a Faithful Pal (http://www.naturalist.org/pages/external/JohnGroganColumn.htm)) and cried some more.

Also, I'm a sympathy crier, when I see other people cry, I cry. When Fathers cry over their daughters, I bust out crying too. I see it a lot at the weddings I go to and I just lose it. It's so freakin' sweet I can't take it.

Anything with hurt animals, as EoFF's resident animal-lover, I can't stomach anything like that.

The end of the Sixth Sense, shock mixed with joy mixed with despair. Feelings of helplessness and suprise rolled into one make me bawl.

My last full on cry was when I saw The Green Mile when it came out. But a few things have since made me choke up.

Ahem. At the Montreal Canadiens 100th anniversary ceremony, when they were retiring the numbers of old players, there was one player named Emile Bouchard who was all old and in a wheelchair. And there was a player who was currently using his number. After that player attached the banner to the wires, and before the banner was raised, this player took off his jersey to reveal a new number. He gave his old jersey to Emile Bouchard. And Emile smiled that toothless, surprised smile... And I was choking up.

Also, the series finale of Scrubs, where JD is saying his final goodbyes. I got teary during that too.

OH! And the first five minutes of Up. Wtf.

Edit: I also choke up a little watching Freddie Mercury singing Radio Gaga and that LiveAid concert.
