We saw that other Sorceresses like Ultimecia and especaily Adel seemed to grow rather monstrous in appearance.
Will Rinoa look like that too as she ages?
Poor Squall.

Rinoa probably will end up being imprisoned by Esthar. There's no way for a sorceress to keep sane 24/7. Humans =/= Sorceresses.
Those sorceresses you saw were created by TC. They may be real, but I don't think that thier appearance is real; the developers were lazy on that part.
I wouldn't worry about Squall. He's already dead. At least Rinoa has her own holographic device for that ...

Adel looks like that because she is really a man. :colbert:

Edea got hotter so why can't Rinoa stay cute? Also, Squall's dead what?

Adel looks like that because she is really a man. :colbert:
Adel is asexual. Due to Esthar being so scared, they have decided to remove Adel's organs during the imprisonment. If you were Esthar, you wouldn't want to fight against multiple Adel(s) or her children in case Adel's escaped, would you?
The result of thier cruel action has made Adel become adapted to the environment over the past years, causing her to look more and more genderless. This is probably a side-effect of the equipment that Esthar has used against her.
For example, if your own ancestors have lived underground with no light for many generations, good chances are that you're already blind.

How could they remove organs from her? They froze her and shot her into space right away. Also Adel would have to probably rape someone to even have a child. She's much larger that an average person and is well, Adel.
Also that's not how evolution works. Form does not alter to fit function. Form that is better suited to meet a specific function has a greater chance of being passed on.
For example, cut off a persons ears. Their children will still have ears. This has been done before with mice tails. It disproves a major part of Lamarck's theory of evolution, which is what you are referring to.

They have removed her organs before sending her to space.

It doesn't matter. The point is that if she had organs, she's always capable of giving birth. Now that she no longer has organs, she cannot give birth.

We were monkeys, we had more hair back then. We were adapted to Ice Age.
But now we have less hair. How? Heated sexual intercourses! :D:D

Aha- a theory. It seems that if a lot of people agree with a certain theory, they are bound to think that it's 100% correct and use it to thier defence.
If all of your parents were born blind for many generations, the genes would become changed. So, if they give birth to you, it's highly unlikely that you won't go blind. That would be a miracle!

Just so you don't misunderstand. 100% of the scientific community agrees that Lamarck's theory of evolution is wrong. This statement is particular is evidence that you misunderstand how evolution works.
We were monkeys, we had more hair back then. We were adapted to Ice Age.
Humans did not evolve from Monkeys. This is the most common misinterpretation of human evolution. Humans, Chimpanzees, Gorillas etc. all have a recent common ancestor. Also form does not change to meet function.
Anyway back to the man that is Adel. When they tricked her, they sealed her then sent her into space. To operate on her they would have had to break that seal and risk waking her up right then and there.

LOL WHUT?
Serapy omg, where just where do you get this idea that they removed her organs? Where???? Show me a single screen shot to back that up? Also, Adel is female that is beyond doubt she does not look very female but she is still a female. If they operated on Adel she would have to be defrosted for this to happen you can't operate on something frozen solid, ever tried to cut up a chicken breast thats still frozen solid, it's like trying to cut up a rock. Adel was so powerful that Laguna did not dare face her in a fight because she'd kill him quicker than he could say "dammit!" instead he tricked Adel and basically delivered a short sharp shove to get her to be frozen she's too powerful to risk defrosting for the mere point of removing her organs. They simply sent her in to space and intended to leave her there until the end of time. It was only the influence of Lunatic Pandora calling the Lunar Cry down on Esthar itself in a size what had not been seen before that destroyed the lunar station and it's prisoner, Adel.
As for Rinoa's appearance who can say however the ultimania guide does state that Adel's appearance changed due to the high content of dark magic she used. I think that Rinoa after the games event is unlikely to be using her powers for long. Lets not forget Edea collects Ultimecia's power as a young lady and Squall at the correct time was just a child she survives just fine for a good many years without any visible differences in her appearance (ok so she matures somewhat and becomes one sexy mama) so what dictates that Rinoa will change. As for Rinoa being imprisoned by Esthar? Maybe, who knows Laguna is president of Esthar and Kiros and Ward two of his top advisers not to mention Ellone holds special rank in their society. I think it would be clear to say knowing that Squall is his son and Rinoa helped save Esthar I would be more inclined to say he'd let Rinoa stay free after all theres no real reason to imprison her she's not trying to take over the world.

Regarding the context of 'we were monkeys', I meant that we had more hair back then.
Iceglow, consider how Dr. Odine extracted data from Adel. If she was frozen solid and hence cannot be operated on like what you mentioned, it would be very difficult for Odine to extract data from her at that point.
If they are capable of catching Adel, they should be able to do something on her before she gets freezed and sent to away.
Think of it this way. They caught Adel, and then immediately freeze/send her to space. Unfortunately, that doesn't sound good.
The most logical conclusion would be that ... They catch Adel > Humans' Curiosity motivate them to analyse and extract data from Adel > They got what they needed > Begins the freezing stage > Send her to space.
Why wouldn't they take organs outta her body? It makes sense, considering how she looked when compared to the likes of Ultimecia, Rinoa and Edea. And Adel just happens to be the one that was imprisoned!
They took her organs. Got what they needed. Frozen her and sent her to space. It seems that there are more side effects to freezing than we thought. Freezing prolongs your lifespan, and something else... making you become more unstable. The removal of her ograns made this very possible.
I agree, cloud21zidane16. A sequel to Adel's backstory would be interesting.

Serapy, stop now. All you are doing is derailing this thread, and I'm not going allow that. I don't care if you want to make countless theorys with no evidence, but once you start to destroy someone else's thread, you need to leave.
Topic: I don't think SE meant for us to think this way, but it is interesting. I don't see why Rinoa wouldn't change like the other sorcerers did.

marries Squall, they have kids and move on and live a sedate life.

leader of mortals, if you think a thread is being derailed, warn and move on. There is no need for you to publicly interfere or backseat moderate.
Serapy, having theories is fine, but if you're adamant about discussing your theories in detail, please keep it to your own threads about them rather than turning other people's legitimate discussions into being about your theories.
Rinoa will grow a beard as she ages.

As she matures beyond adolescence, she'll hopefully begin to dress more like Dion Rogers had envisaged.

I don't quite understand why anyone playing VIII would not think that Adel is evil. Okay, nobody comes out and shouts: "WOOT, ADEL IS EVIL MOFO!", but she started a war, stole female children, let Odine do his crazy experiments on whatever he wanted, used prisoners as slave labour and managed to create a worldwide fear of sorceresses. And, besides Odine, who clearly enjoyed being allowed to do whatever he wanted to do, nobody really has a positive word to say about her. And even Odine seems to understand its best if she's not there, otherwise he wouldn't have helped Laguna defeat her with his special machine.
And yes, I recall somebody saying or implying that Adel looked so weird because of her use of evil magic. And that's why Edea looked like a normal person. Based on these two facts, its likely that Rinoa will look like a normal person when she gets older.
As for Squall and Rinoa growing old in a quiet life, I somewhat doubt it. They're the go to guys for any crisis that happens.

i think with any FF game things get over analysed, for me the ending showed me a few things, firstly Squall and Rinoa finally got their happy ending together, Squall never died and that is a theory for me that has been put to bed already.
In the game it stated after Squall and co. where to fight and defeat Ultimecia she would need to pass on her powers, this was shown when Squall revisited Edea back in the past, for me it was never ever proven that Rinoa had inherited any powers what so ever? more the fact that Ultimecia was just using her to fulfill her own selfish desires.
as for Rinoa and Squall living the quiet life? doubtful it's FF isn't it lol?
