Has there been any music or a band/artist that you have stumbled upon recently that you're enjoying lately?

Recently I bought Kaiser Chiefs' Ruby track in Guitar Hero III and loved it. From that I've checked out more of their music and I'm definitely enjoying their music.

It was more of a recommendation than a discovery, but I've become incredibly fond of Perfume (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ebWsTKtTHzs).

I also like Alstroemeria Records (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lF1t8NhuQ7k&feature=video_response) a lot as well.

I've had similar experiences with games like Guitar Hero where I like a track and go onto explore their music. I've become a fan of Rise Against as a result of the Prayer of the Refugee track on GH.

I also like the Kaiser Chiefs, but I discovered their music through an advert on TV about football. I think the song was Never Miss a Beat

Their whole 'The Sufferer and the Witness' album is pretty good.

i think for me someone i started to listen to a little bit recently has been Michael Buble, i've always liked his music but i've never actually properly listend to his music for any extended amount of time, for me he's pretty relaxin to listen to.

While not exactly a recent discovery (I've known about them since I was a foot tall and sporadically listened to this and that), I've just recently started to really listen to Foo Fighters, and really liking what I'm hearing.

Artists I've actually discovered lately include Paloma Faith (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=steC-8NSVIw) and Anna von Hausswolff (http://svtplay.se/v/1871006), both very good.

My latest is The Mercury Project. However, in the last couple of days I have downloaded (legally, of course) roughly 15 different CDs from about a dozen bands.

Yes! I love that song! I discovered it by randomly searching for the word "ruby" on iTunes.
I just discovered Rains, Day of Fire, and Killswitch Engage. I'm hooked. <3

I've been listening to quite a bit of Joshua Radin. First stumbled upon him while watching Scrubs, and he's pretty heavily featured there, as well as in Zach Braff's other projects.

Yeasayer (http://www.myspace.com/yeasayer). I've known about them for a long time, but I didn't start listening to them until recently.

Also, Ghost Society (http://www.myspace.com/ghostsocietyofficialsite). "Better Days" is a really nice song.

Also this. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NS2YMTbxyY4) I accidentally stumbled upon them on YouTube whilst looking up something else. I don't like their music but I appreciate the fact that they work those outfits. The music video also reminds me of the one I made lmao. Oh green screen.
