Do you guys think I am going too slow? I'm just wondering how far you guys were when you were at this point.
By the way, I like this game so far, but, as of right now, it's not as impressive as I thought it would be. Beautiful world, though, and the dialogue is better than what was presented in the trailer. It's better than III DS and XII for sure, but I like X better (the only four Final Fantasy games I have played).

I can't be certain, but I think I'm either on pace with you or a little bit slower. I'm at the beginning of Chapter 6 with 15 hours of game time!
Whenever new crystariums are unlocked, I purposely will not push forward until I run back and forth on the current map, eventually gaining enough CP so that I am maxed out (not able to use any more CP). Its not until this point that I will then move on. :)

Pure, around chapter 9 you're gonna have a lot of grinding to do when things start to take over 1k CP each.

I'm exactly here as well with roughly the same playtime.
Anyhow.
DigitalPhoenix: How do you figure you might be going too slow? It's not like there's a time limit or speed grade or anything.

Exactly, the time frame you play should be optimized around whatever you find the most fun. So unless you find speedrunning you first playthrough fun I wouldn't worry about it. And if you are, get a move on lollygagger!

I've had fair share of run-ins with South Korean MMO's, its in my blood to grind like a slave child. Haha!
Thanks for the heads up. :)

xD @ PureMourning
I don't think there's such a thing as going too slow. Enjoy your game. It is a game after all.
