I'm writing a tremendously frustrating paper on meta-ethics and the debate of non-analytically naturalist moral realism v. moral properties not being real properties. This is my last paper of the term (well, I have one last one to write, but I have until April 20th, so I'll be doing that much later). So once I finish this in a few hours, then I will be celebrating this good holiday in style.

I've made plans to make up for it over the weekend. =]

Oh I'll definitely be drinking today-- the fact that it's st. patty's is incidental!

Ehehe, I'm drunk and wearing all my celtics gear in layers...even though it's hot. Great holiday. Now I'm going to sleep.

Trapped in school but they do have a bar on campus... weird I know.

Anyway, I started early this past weekend and I will probably finish celebrating during this coming weekend. Good holidays should not be restricted to just one day. :colbert:

To all the Irish people on this forum, Happy Saint Patrick's Day! I may not be Irish, but I'm very drawn to their culture.

I thought I'd have the day off, apparently they want me to come in. Yay for working at an Irish Pub! :/

One day, I'd like to properly celebrate St. Patty's Day, even though it's not commonly done in Denmark.

I think I maybe had a beer to celebrate last year while sitting by a campfire in Yosemite National Park, though? I remember being in San Francisco in the days leading up to it, and people were getting pretty excited about it.

It's not even 4, so no drinking as of yet. But I'm wearing my Boondock Saints shirt that says "Everyone is Irish on St. Patrick's Day."

i had an eight hour class at work about how to apply human performance fundamentals. then i came home and watched a depressing hockey game.

alcohol would have made both things more interesting.

Threads have been merged...

Anyway, did you guys have corned beef and cabbage, potatoes and carrots, bangers and mash, or any other traditional Irish dishes?

I made corned beef and cabbage with red potatoes and Irish soda bread. BJ drank a six pack of Killians and we watched a St Patty's Day episode of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

Still recovering. :monster: Started drinking at 2pm on paddy's day and ended up so drunk that I had to come home by 10. Didn't even make it out to the nightclub. Still a great day, went to the local parade and drank copious amounts of Guinness, just a shame the weather in Limerick wasn't great.
