I wasn't a scout.:chuckle:
I remember lying to my parents about the silliest, or freedom preserving, things. Like having done my chores before going to hang out with friends, or if I'd done my homework.

What did you used to lie to your parents about? Funniest/biggest lie you ever told?

Well I honestly can't remember many lies.

I do remember when I was younger I thought glasses were super cool. I wanted them really badly so I thought i'd lie on the vision tests they gave out in school so I could get some glasses. Every year though when I got there I felt so bad for even thinking about lying that I never lied about my vision.

I very rarely outright lie.

I often lie to my parents about where I'm at and what I'm doing, even still. Most of the time I never lie and am not really good at lying, but when it comes to authority figures I am a master liar. I mean I'm not ridiculous about it but my dad'll be like "Are you on your way over?" and I'll be like "Yeah I'm on the freeway" when I totally just got out of the shower. *shrug*

When I was about five or six I told my mother I saw a Care Bear on the cloud above me when we were walking to a grocery store.

That's not a lie, that's wonderful.

Back in 7th grade I sold porn out of my locker. Had a good business going 'til I got caught (who'd have thunk it, eh?). I didn't want to rat out my friend who gave it to me so I told my mom the stupidest thing to creep into my mind, which was that as I was leaving our local 7-11 a bum forced the nudie mags on me. The story changed several times before the end of my punishment.

I said I had brushed my teeth when I hadn't! Then one day when I HAD brushed my teeth my dad said I hadn't because my toothbrush was suspiciously dry. I told him I had, because I had, and he got really angry that I dared lie straight to his face. :( I WASN'T LYING DAD NOT THAT ONE TIME

Question: 'What were you two doing down there?'

Response A: 'Nothing!'
Response B: 'Playing 'doctor'!'

I never was a good liar as a kid, so either my mom was completely oblivious or really good at shutting things out of her mind.

I know the point of this is for lies and blah, but apparently - mother's words - I never used to lie.

Liable to be because I used to burst out laughing whenever she gave that serious look. Mastered that serious flaw now though ;)

I soaked a bad grade on my report card with ink and wrote my "real" grade next to it before I showed my parents. They totally realized what I did (and could see the bad grade) but they pretended otherwise because they wanted me to be honest with them. My dad was convincing (if you could be convinced that someone like him would believe something that dumb anyway xD) but my mom is a terrible actress and gave them away. But I was getting away with it for the time being so whatever, I just went with it. They kept pretending they never noticed even when they were grounding me after seeing the real grade on the next report card xD

I think I buried (or did I simply throw it away?) a test paper that I got an F on before. When I was little, I never got anything lower than a B, and if I got a C- or lower, I'd be grounded. When asked how I did on that test, and when they wanted to know where it was, I broke down and told them what I did. :|

I've stolen some candy once, when I was 8, and I still feel bad about it. I've never told my parents and lied when they asked if I had anything to do with this other kid who did get caught. It's a good thing too, because I seem to have an affinity for stealing and sneaking, and it could've gone very very wrong.

Funniest moment lie was when I was snooping around in the fridge, which was in the garage. Now this garage was newly build, so there was still an outside window from the new garage (previously outside) to the rest of the house. I found this mars bad, and thought, SCORE, the moment I had it in my mouth I heard my dad say: "You're not taking the mars bar, right?", Now, I have 3 siblings, so I just said no, I could always blame it on them later. I close the fridge, and there was my dad looking at me through the window, mars bar still in my mouth.

Dang you, window!

I usually confess to any big lies I tell my parents, because deep down I'm actually a good kid. But just last night I tried to lie to ma about why I downloaded music for me and not her. I just stuttered all over my words and was caught out :(

I don't lie to my parents, but I once told a girl that I loved her.

I benefited greatly.

I think the biggest lie I told my parents was that I didn't do anything more than kiss my ex, Cody.
