What was the toughest boss in your first playthrough in FFXII?

Stupid Demon Wall, I was seriously underlevelled.

Yeah, it was a bitch for me too. Flashbacks to FFIV. I can't remember if the Demon Wall in FFVII was difficult or not.

It wasn't too bad, I can only remember one of the like dozen times I played VII having any issues with it.

Elder Wyrm. I had pretty much no status effect curing items or immunity equipment and he had an insane amount of Hp for the time.

Oh yeah, I had no status effect stuff either. That was a tough one.I won that with one character who had seriously, 5 HP left.

Tbh i had so much fun chaining monsters, rare game hunting and treasure hunting that most of the time i was somewhat over levelled for the story bosses and such i didn't really struggle with any of them.

Marks though... I remember being killed by a cactuars 1000 needles when i decided to fight him with a party of just vaan. The Wyrm in the paramina rift gave me a spot of trouble too. I think it goes without saying that Zodiark put up a good fight. He never actually killed my party, i managed to hang in there but ive never had such an intense fight. Not even Yiazmat put up as much of a fight as him

Demon Wall and Elder Wyrm were both tough. But if I can include hunts in this, then Gilgamesh v2 was the hardest fight of the game for me, because I went immediately from the first to the second fight without thinking about if he'd be at a higher level. I got my ass kicked the first time I faced him, but I was too stubborn to go back and too lazy to level up more so I went at it again and barely beat him.

Ultima took about double digit tries, Zodiark was unbeatable (both with whole party at level 99!)
