I loved Kingdom Hearts, but I've barely touched Kingdom Hearts 2. My sister got it for Christmas one year and I think we still have it somewhere, but I'm not positive.

Would you suggest playing it? I'm just wondering if it's as great of a game as KH1 was, and if it's worth investing my time into.

Well, it's not a painful experience. It's a pretty solid game, in almost every respect; things like the camera didn't change (if anything they got better), more options have been provided (especially in the department of mobility for the adventurer). The plot builds on the first in a way that doesn't totally seem contrived. Really, KHII is KHI, except, more of it, and with some complaints about the first game changed.

I still don't get why Drives were introduced (from an out-of-game perspective), but whatever, they're cool.

Personally I think it's better than KHI in every way.
Except for it's originality of course xD
