Are you a spray-on type of person or a roll-on?

I prefer the roll-on type. Spray on, I'm paranoid that I didn't put enough on and then I put too much on. I don't like roll-on gel because it's cold during the cold months and it melts in the hot weather. Solid roll-on for me!

I really really really hate gel. I don't see why anyone would prefer gel over a stick. (I think roll on is mainly for women's deodorant although I've had one before.) Unless you want deodorant that actually "feels" like it's doing something, then gel is the way to go but it's just too messy for my tastes and ugh.

Old Spice's liquidy gel for me. I've never had an issue with melting in hot weather though! Spray seems too much like hit-miss. I'd be afraid of not getting my pits directly enough and just over-apply all the time!

Does anyone else require antiperspirant deodorant? I sweat gallons, so going without antiperspirant makes for lots of ickiness!

I like the stick kind. Gel makes me feel all cold like.

If I was a guy I would use the Old spice because their commercials are awesome.

I don't sweat a lot at all unless it's humid or I'm really hot under my blankets. I woke up sweating this morning and I hated feeling all sticky like that :( Better than waking up freezing though!

So to answer your question, I do use anti-perspirant deodorant, but I don't necessarily need it.

Gel deodorants are absolutely disgusting in every way, shape, and form.

I use stick deodorant. Quick, easy, and not fucking sticky or slimy.

Spray it on me! It's quicker and more convenient for me, especially when I'm half way out the door because I'm really late. And I can just spray it on my clothes and smell nice~

Y'all make out gels to be like.. goopy and thick and everlasting! It's really watery and just evaporates away, leaving nothing but perfection behind! D:

Old spice stick. The blue kind. No Aluminum, like other deodorants. Less of a cancer threat.

YUCK YUCK YUCK. Gel is just lkawefhwekaj. <-That's me shuddering. Absolutely stick for me. I don't really need it because I don't sweat a lot, but still, every day!

Fun Fact: Deodorant is what you will typically find in Japan, so if you go for an extended stay, bring your own antiperspirant.

Gillette Clinical Strength solid, gels feel too wet. *shudder*

I use a spray, the Rexona for men 24 hours stuff. After much trial and error, I find it's the only one that actually WORKS for more than 12 hours.

I use Old Spice's blue stuff. I hate that gel that comes out through a strainer, looks like Play-doh. It's taken me many a year to find a deodorant I like. The white powdery crap makes m'shirt's pits all yellow and the spray only lasts an hour or two.

I'm a big fan of gel sticks; can't believe there are so many haters. I pretty much agree with Xaven that it simply goes on and... that's it! You're covered.

Depends, it's either roll on cream or spray; been trying different brands. My fav so far is Clarins (http://ca.clarins.com/beauty-product/body/shape-up-your-skin/refresh/gentle-care-cream-deodorant/C020203003/) (hands down), love it. It's very long-lasting and it smells wonderful. Right now I'm trying a WELEDA (http://www.honestycosmetics.co.uk/images/Weleda%20citrus%20deodorant%20100ml%20cruelty%20free.jpg) deodorant which is a spray; I quite love it (apparently it's "free from synthetic additives, fragrance, colour, preservatives and aluminium salts"). I've only tried the Citrus scented thus far, and it's quite refreshing! I am strongly recommending Clarins and Weleda. They're just awesome.:love::love:

Edit: HAET at Dove deodorants. :mad2:

I've never used deodorant since I was 15 yrs old...

I usually shave my pits so that cuts down the build up of any bad B.O

So far I know it for a fact that no one has yet to complain (in RL) that I stink...

I usually up keep on Hygiene so I don't end up smelling ripe! :p

Always and forever spray-on. I tried roll-on for a while, but damn that stuff's not for me.

I use Women's Degree Ultra-Clear, the Little Black Dress formula. It doesn't leave white powder on your clothes, and it smells good. I use the Pure Petal and Pure Oxygen scents :jess:

I use Old Spice before it was cool. My dad likes this Gel thing though, so if I forget to buy mine, I'm stuck with the gel and I agree it was too cold during the winter.

I seriously haven't seen commercials as good as their recent ones since the Red Stripe beer commercials from a few years back.

Anywho, I only use deodorant if I happen to be smelling more than usual, but usually I just don't need it, and prefer not to use any. When I do it's a solid roll on though. I don't want goop in my pits, and I have no desire to be actually breathing in a spray on deodorant.

I use spray, I hate the feeling of roll-on. :p

Antiperspirant all the time. I don't mind gels, in fact I used them almost exclusively for a while because my pits are hairy/manly and any other solid stuff gets all tangled and clumpy and gross up in there. These days I just buy whatever's on sale at Walgreen's. But I do need that AP.

Maybe I'll try shaving it all off like Rodarian one day.

sprays are more expensive aren't they? So it's just been stick and roll-ons for me.

Old spice stick. The blue kind. No Aluminum, like other deodorants. Less of a cancer threat.

This. Plus every other kind I use irritates the hell out of my 'pits and that's just unpleasant.

Roll-on, but I do remember using a spray kind that I picked up from Boots.

I like roll-on. I hate spray because it makes me think of when I was in high school and had to take the bus with middle school girls that would spray that :bou::bou::bou::bou: EVERYWHERE and no one could breathe ._.

Deodorant is pointless IMO. Your body doesn't stink, it's the perspiration and lack of personal hygiene that makes it stink. Shower in the morning everyday and use anti-perspirant. If you ever need to use deodorant, you need a shower.

Anti-Perspirant: Attack the cause, not the effect.

This is what I use...

I'm not sure where you live, but most people I know in the US just say deodorant as someone would say Kleenex or Post-It Notes. And most deodorants I see are antiperspirant on top of a deodorant, which is the only thing I will use; I would never consider a stick that wasn't both.

They make spray-on deodorant? o.o
Anyways, I only use a little deodorant, then spray on some perfume. Works fine.

I am surprised, impressed and a little afraid that everyone is so strongly opinionated on this. I use Dove Clinical Strength something something in the green flavor. It is kind of like a cream, I think? It smells good and I don't have sweat stains on my shirts. so I'm happy!

I sweat even with anti-perspirant so I get the two-in one stuff.
