Well April 1st was not just a great day to pull some pranks, it also had some really cool new videos for Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker.

The first is a really fun continuation of the April Fool's tradition KojiPro has been putting out, specifically from 2008.

The next one is, well, unbelievable (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dte4Lstbvag)

HOLY CRAP THIS GAME HAS DESTRUCTIBLE ENVIRONMENTS

I can't believe how good this game is turning out. The camera shaking when you move adds a pretty cool aesthetic IMO. Ever since Chains of Olympus, there's really been no excuse not to bring a full console game to the PSP and I'm glad Peace Walker will be the next game in that tradition, it really is MGS5.

It's definitely looking good. However, I wish it wasn't up to the player to control the camera, and instead had an automatic camera that viewed the gameplay from the optimum angle, like from MG1 to MGS2. Still, I'll get the hang of it eventually, and I'm looking forward to playing this!

So far it seems that they've tightened up camera controls and aiming on a PSP, looking at the ease the players are maneuvering and getting headshots.

BUT I do agree with you - there's really no reason to make a free camera game on a PSP. Furthermore, there really wasn't much need for a free camera in Metal Gear to begin with. Metal Gear Online needed it, but not the main MGS. Still, it did kinda evolve the series, and I'm glad its there, but a safer route that would've got me more excited initially would be to have that same fixed camera from optimum shots of original MGS.
