If you didn't know, the ACTs are like the SATs, only the ACTs are more common in the midwest and southern states, while the SATs are more common on the coasts(thanks Wikipedia!). If you have taken it, what was your score? I'm going to wait to give my score until I see a few before I give my score. Feel free to try to guess my score as well. A perfect score is 36.

I got a 27. I did perfectly fine in the English and Reading sections, but my Math and Sciences were nothing short of abysmal. I blame being out of school for four and a half years though.

I wanted to take it because I heard that the math section is smaller and slightly easier than the SATs and that it's more to do with English skills, but I had never gotten around to it. I hate standardized testing. It's all bologna.

I took the ACTs really late, kinda rushed, to be able to apply to BU. I think I got a 26 or something, I would've done better, but the science section was so stupid. It was less science, and more, LOOK AT SHINY GRAPHS!

I don't remember my score, but I do remember doing really well with it.

I don't remember what I got but I did take it twice. And I ended up getting the same on it both times 'cept my scores were flopped. On one I did good in math and science and then the other I did good in english and reading.

I get bad test anxiety so that was why it was the same score only flip flopped in the actually section results.

I got a 32.

yup yup. 35 on reading, 28 on science. Oh, how the tides have changed!

what pissed me off is that I could've taken it for free, but didn't find out until afterwards.

Took it in my Junior year of HS, only got a 20. Took it again senior year, got a 24.

Good enough for me.

I got 29 on all the tests. xD

I had been out of school for a year before I took the test. :p I thought "eh, 29 is good enough" and didn't bother retaking.

I got a 32.

yup yup. 35 on reading, 28 on science.

Same, I think I even got the same scores on those sections. Science was my worst one because I for whatever reason was slow to get it done and had to rush to finish. Only time I almost didn't finish a section on one of those standardized tests.

I'm from CA so I took the SAT, I think I got like a 2250.

That crazy new scoring makes no sense to me. I have no idea what a good SAT score is now.

It's out of 2400, so I'm pretty sure I have a pretty good score.

I got either a 33 or a 34. I'm not completely sure. I think the former.

I remember I had an illegal calculator, so I had to do the math portion calculator-less, so I don't think I finished that portion, or maybe just barely did. I didn't even know there was a science section on it beforehand.

Are these University entry exams?

Are these University entry exams?

Yes. Most schools will accept either ACT or SAT scores; some prefer both.

My university entrance examinations were called the HSC and the score we got was the UAI. And it was out of a good ol' fashioned 100.

I got 91.35. All of the individual final scores for my subjects ended up being only 1-2 marks away for getting into the top band with the exception of Maths Extension 1, which I only got about 70ish for.

I took it twice, receiving a 27 the first time and a 31 the second time.

I took it in my junior year, didn't study at all, and didn't finish the math portion all the way. But I got a 21 which was enough for the scholarship I was aiming for. :p
