For general WoW vent talk, I'm split between a basic USB headset and getting a USB Bluetooth adapter and using my PS3 blueooth headset. They're pratically the same price (not looking to spend alot) and I already have the PS3 headset. Please help me make a decision. Here are the links to the products:

USB Headset $29.99
Dynex® - Mono USB Headset with Noise-Canceling Microphone - DX-840 (http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Dynex%26%23174%3B+-+Mono+USB+Headset+with+Noise-Canceling+Microphone/8525651.p?id=1186007538579&skuId=8525651&st=usb%20headset&cp=1&lp=2)

USB Bluetooth adapter $26.99
Rocketfish™ - Bluetooth USB Adapter - RF-FLBTAD (http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Rocketfish%26%23153%3B+-+Bluetooth+USB+Adapter/8819282.p?id=1207351931975&skuId=8819282&st=bluetooth%20usb%20adapter&cp=1&lp=3)

(mods move if it's in the wrong place)

Personally, with all other things being equal, I'd rather get the extra set. Unless the adapter was significantly cheaper I think it's probably a better deal to go with a whole other usable headset instead of just an adapter for the existing one.

I've been doing some reading and apparently 3.5 mm headsets are the way to go over USB headsets and that Bluetooth mics on PC can drop the connection which would be pretty crappy.

This next part is going to sound pretty dumb. The headset I put below uses a 3.5 mm connector. I have two ports next to each other on the front of my PC tower, one is for a pair of headphones and the other says it's for a microphone. Are these 3.5 mm connectors? Like I don't want to buy this thing and then not be able to use it or something.

Plantronics - GameCom 377 Over-the-Head Stereo Headset - 79731-01 (http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Plantronics+-+GameCom+377+Over-the-Head+Stereo+Headset/8978403.p?id=1218004379967&skuId=8978403&st=pc%20h) eadset&cp=1&lp=3

Here's a picture of the connectors on my PC.

I've used Dynex products before and they suck. I'd say go with the Rocketfish, but I have no idea if that's better.

Haha, yes. Most electronics use the standard 3.5mm jack for audio like that.

Being fair you can buy a cheap headset for like £/$10 - £/$15 that plugs in to 3.5mm jacks. You don't need something fancy for Vent talk just something is all.

What’s this $29.99? If your headset cost more then your computer then that’s a real gaming headset.
