Any yummy meals with potatos that you've eaten or prepared lately?

I made a yellow sauce curry with potatoes, chicken, peppers and onion. The potato came out so yummy in it that it could have worked well as a vegetable curry without the chicken.

Last Thursday, I had entrecôte with sugar snaps and garlic potato croquettes. Delicious! I did try and take a picture but I just didn't manage to make it look very appetising, so I'll spare you xD

I love baked potatos, or potato salads!

Nothing special I know, but sometimes the simple stuff are the best :p

Oh, and my mum makes the best au gratin potato. It's one of my favourite things ever.

Made Pioneer Woman's creamy herbed potatoes (http://thepioneerwoman.com/cooking/2008/10/creamy-herbed-potatoes/) last week. It's seriously the most decadent potato dish ever. Deeeeelicious.

I heated up a store-bought shepherd's pie last night. God, it was good! I'm going against the Aussie tradition here, but a shepherd's pie is just so much better than a boring ol' plain meat pie.

I've once tried to make my own shepherd's pie and it failed miserably. I'd like to try again sometime.

I love potatoes! Near everything I cook has potatoes in it or as a side. I would be a potato farmer if I could :colbert:

I like baked sweet potatoes and simple garlic mashed potatoes. As Rantz said, Au Gratin. They are so yummy. I make those here and there but I doubt I can touch his momma's.

Today I made mashed... beans. Instead of potatoes. BJ didn't care for them.

I love potatoes. I shall have some tomorrow.

I'm sure you could touch my momma's potatoes anytime.

Alas given the fact I'm Irish, potatoes are commonly served with most dishes I eat

I had carne asada fries Sunday for lunch/dinner.

For anyone that doesn't know what that is, it's a plate of french fries topped with carne asada, guacamole, sour cream and cheese. I always add salsa too. They're so freaking good.

I like potatoes, but for some reason I haven't had them since I moved away from home, so I can't really remember what the last yummy potato dish I had was.

But, a yummy potato dish is defnitely Aloo Gobi (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aloo_gobi)!

Had taters at Easter, with a pork shoulder and creamy sweetcorn... cream... stuff. Which is all delicious! Also roast parsnips which look like big fat delicious chips but they are not :(

I've been craving scotch broth with potatoes since I was in Norn Iron

I.... just love potatoes. I tend to have them with most dinners.

Chips, roast taters, new potatoes, baked potatoes, fried tater slices, croquettes, hash browns.....
anything but mash. I don't like mash!

mmmm, I want a salad with new potatoes now. nom.
