I guess ITT we discuss hilarious misprints. And for that matter, hilarious misreadings of things! At Leicester train station Jess misread The Local Hero as The Local Herp!

I consistently misread things. I read the Caravans thread as "Cavemen" and was really excited until I found out it was just boring.

I remember hearing a story from somewhere about a guy who text messaged a friend of his asking "how much for a tranny?"

Turns out his car had broken down and he needed to get his transmission fixed.

I've misheard "ghosts of (something) left behind" as "goats of (something) left behind," but that's mishearing rather than misreading.
