It really has been (http://forums.eyesonff.com/wonder-square/129217-been-while-since-last-desktop-thread-3.html) a long time (http://forums.eyesonff.com/wonder-square/129734-screendump-thread.html) since the last desktop thread (http://forums.eyesonff.com/wonder-square/126178-achtung-strip-your-desktop.html). So I guess I am taking it upon myself to start one up, because you can never annoy the hell out of people enough by posting your desktop.

This is mine (http://i879.photobucket.com/albums/ab359/tbcx/DesktopScreenshot1April.jpg) and I change it about every month or so. I have roughly about 230 wallpapers and I alternate them because they are all pretty neat. I also hide my taskbar.

Postscript: I lack the talent to make witty thread titles.

I usually just change the background to whatever game I'm playing the most of at the time. Right now, it's obviously FFXIII. Prior to this, I've had Bayonetta, Cassandra from SC, Lee from Tekken and the BMW M3 from Need For Speed: Most Wanted up there.

I'm envious of all the people that organise their desktops to be so much more than just a background. I can't be bothered. :D:D

I had a Matt Furie wallpaper for the longest time and it was great, but this one really reflects the horrible state my computer is in.

I have changed my primary desktop image once in the past 8 or so years. I can rarely be bothered to put forth the effort to change something that doesn't really need changing.

My background for 6+ years was a DragonLance background with a bunch of Raistlin images. A year or two ago I changed it to this cool looking Suikoden IV background. I expect it to last at least another 2-3 years.

I was just being lazy, but FINE. Here is my desktop. I tend to just let stuff accumulate on it until I get to 4 or 5 full columns and then delete half of them since I don't need them anymore.

that's a cpu temperature monitor widget which uses the data from an app called Speedfan. The second monitor uses the program HWmonitor which is said to be more accurate.

i hate shortcut icons, only ever have recycle bin. i change the picture when i could be bothered.

one day i would like to put all the shortcut icons back on the desktop, screendump the desktop, save the image, then set the image as the desktop and delete the actual icons. then i would confuse people who sneakily use my laptop as they'd click the icons but nothing would happen :p

I have two "monitors" so my desktop is kinda stretched. The right half is on my TV, though (hence the quotation marks on "monitors"), so I mostly use it for watching movies from my PC. Total resolution is 3840 x 1080.

The custom folder icons are from Pixelgirlpresents, which is where I usually get my wallpapers. I love the set.
