Okay, so it appears Mountain Dew (or Mtn Dew, whatever) is coming out with three new flavors. White Out (smooth citrus Dew), Typhoon (punch of tropical Dew), and Distortion (lime blasted Dew). Have you tried any of them? I have, and I say they taste pretty good. Better than the last time they introduced three new flavors. I have to say, White Out is the best of the new three. So good! :D

@rubah: Well, the Lime flavor has an obviously strong lime flavor to it. Citrus has a more... citrus-y flavor and tastes very similar to Fresca imo, if you had tried that.

I don't think the new flavour are available where I'm at. Nevertheless, I usually hate new flavours of any soft drink (with the exception of Vanilla Coke and good ol' Pepsi Blue) and I quite like the original Mountain Dew, so that's where my vote goes.

Mountain Dew's ok, but nothing I'd bother buying for myself, so I likely won't be getting these anytime soon, either. The only soda I buy is the very occasional Coke (which is the brand Coca-Cola, rubah).

Speaking of new flavors MTN DEW recently had a run called Throwback where it used like cane sugar or something instead of HFCS. I don't know if it was just because I expected it to taste better, but I did like it more.

Mountain Dew Throwback (2009/2010) – Mountain Dew made with natural sugar (instead of HFCS) ... The 2009 version's formula had real sugar and no orange juice, whereas the 2010 version's formula has orange juice in it. This is still available in select locations.
Apparently, most soft drinks/soda bottled in the US use HFCS instead of sugar. So I think this (or at least the 2009 version) is just supposed to taste like the Mountain Dew the rest of the world gets.

Btw. The name White Out is a big turn off for me. It reminds me of liquid paper/correctional fluid.. or whatever else it can be called.
