Mom: Brennan, take out the trash
Me: Ok
*I put on my shoes*
Me: What was I supposed to do, again?
Mom: RAWR! Are you stupid or something?!
Me: Meep

TOPIC: Are you forgetful?

Yes, I walk into the rooms to grab something only to forget why when I get there.

I'm so forgetful people prepare for it.

My old high school math teacher told me that absentmindedness is a sign of genius. My IQ must be higher than Einstein's, then.

I came here to post something but I can't seem to remember what it was.

Buh. Dum. Tsh. You love it.

I'm surprised it took 4 posts before this made an appearance.

I have moments where I completely forget what I was going to say as I'm starting a sentence.

I often walk into a room and then be like "What the hell am I doing in here?", I'll then remember like a few hours after when it's too late :p

What Chloe said has happened to me several times, and I hate that! :[

We must be clones of sorts. My forgetfulness astounds me, most people are just used to it though. Apparently I just don't listen but I beg to differ.

Yeah, I totally walk into rooms only to forget why shortly afterward.

I choose to believe this.

Sometimes I forget to breath.

Sometimes I forget to breath.

Sometimes, I forget that I was breathing, so I forget that I have to breath to live.

I do that too. Usually it's when my mom has to be all psychobitch about it and in my head I'm like "GAWD JUST SHUT UP can't you ask politely like a normal person? You don't even have to say please, just do it civilly!" and then realize I completely missed what she asked me to do :|

Amen.

I feel so senile when at the age of 18 I wander into a room muttering, 'hmm... hmm... no it wasn't that... hmmm...'.

It always takes me ages to remember what I did yesterday as well, or to recall a conversation that I just had. I'm good at remembering stuff that happened years ago though, and I never forget where i've parked my car because my memory is practically photographic.

I read somewhere about why that is. Ironically, I don't remember what it was. :p

Maybe because that you have so many thoughts and ideas, that you can't remember the things happening right now?

I can never remember things. Sometimes I think Psychotic messes with me on my faulty memory since he knows my memory blows so he tells me false memories but I don't know better so I agree! That paul!

I can be pretty pre-occupied sometimes, but I wouldn't call myself forgetful. I have a good memory.

It can be pretty random what is committed to memory and what isn't for me. I mean, obviously I know the important stuff, like my name or the :breine: smiley, but other nonsense is up in the air.

Super forgetful. Anniversaries, birthdays, what I had for breakfast, whether I've done something already, where I've put things.. I'm forgetful in just about every context of the word.

I can remember the most trivial piece of conversation for 3 weeks ago with the exact syntax and tone it was delivered in and possibly even where everyone was standing at the time but sometimes I dont remember what I wasted my time on during the weekend or the night before.
