Well it came into my head when i was watching love game...blarg dislike lady gaga, anyway s the song is about choosing between love or fame. Which would you chose i would definitely chose love cause fame is a hollow fixation.

But if faced with the choice which one would you chose...Love or Fame?

Love.

If I had the choice of fame or nothing, I'd choose nothing.

I'd choose fame first. Get me some moneys. I can find love later.

I don't think you're ready, for this jelly. Not yet. I better choose love for now.

Pre-Hux I would say fame.

I love him too much to choose something over him like fame!

Quindiana Jones
05-05-2010, 12:48 AM
Why not just choose fame and then get Hux back? Pretty sure the dude wouldn't mind if you went "hey, gonna be gone for a few years. Let's long distance this party, and then hookup when I'm rich. What colour mansion do you want?". That's why I don't understand these things. :(

I'm genuinely asking people to help me understand here. It may be futile to try to explain love to my cold a shrivelled heart, but I'll give it a shot.

I'd take money, but if I had to choose, I'd choose love, since fame is disgusting

What are we counting as fame here?
Will Smith kind of fame or Will Wright, Miyamoto kind of fame?

Are we talking fame with money? Because if I get money then fame, and I'll get some love back later just like Quin says and my many houses will be glorious. But without money, smurf that noise, I have no desire to be famous in and of itself.

Meat Puppet

Neither. All I ask is for is the power to go invisible.

And maybe make me bulletproof, if you can.

Fame or Love you cant have both they dont work out look at all the failed celebrity couples there isn't many that last, its a constant power struggle between the couple "your more famous than me" "Your cheating on me ive seen the photos" :eep:

i've a pretty murky past so any fame would be mired in scandal and arrest.....so i take love

but i'd settle for oral

Screw fame. I like my privacy.

Also, I don't believe in love.

Try giving me an option that doesn't suck.

option 3. Lady Gaga dies a slow and painful death

I suppose I could go with that

Well, it depends on what I'm famous for. Famous for being famous, or having absolutely no talent, I'd choose love. That being said, if I were famous for actually having some kind of talent, and having the opportunity to share that talent, I'd choose fame. Love is diverse, and love for the work you're doing, can be just as satisfying as the love between two people.

no answer then I presume it's Miyamoto, Kojima kind of fame where I can be famous with many adoring fans and still be able to have lots of money and a personal loving relationship without it being all up in the media. Also barely any paparazzi.

Fame & Love FTW

I'm going to assume we're talking fame with money here. If so, then fame.

Fame=Money=Buying love.

I'm being serious here too.

Jack Kevorkian is famous. I've yet to see a girl swoon over Jack, and as for money...well, they may be using his arse as currency in jail, but I don't think that really counts as being rich.

Love.

I don't see the attraction in fame.
I mean assides from the money what else do you get?
No private life, a busy schedule and your ugly morning face in the papers ( because the press always snap you when you're hung over :3 )

It has to be Love. What does fame really give you? You have your personal life invaded, you get potrayed as a caricature of your true self and, the saddest part is, fame doesn't last. Real love from friends, family and your partner will last forever.

Brunettepudding

Love.

Fame is overrated, and only suitable for somebody if they're okay with losing their soul.

Your example of fame lasting a long time has only been dead for 65 years. Jesus has been dead for 2010 years.

Didn't they start counting the years from his first year of life?

Besides, Jesus isn't nearly as prominent on the internet as Adolf is.

Citizen Bleys
05-08-2010, 08:47 AM
Criminy! I waffled on that too. Yes, AD is short for Anno Domini, not After Death as is the common misconception; so it's only been 1977 years since his death (died at age 32, there is no Year 0)

I was more concerned with the Year Zero fencepost error than starting from the birth instead of death ><

Well, I'll go with the common consensus here. After all, what's life without the love of others?
...oh wow, that sounded so corny. >.<

Although I haven't gotten any from anyone special yet....
