Rather than making a movie where you don't get time to get to know characters before they get butchered, or making an ongoing series with no written ending, making horror mini series has lately become a bit of a trend. Personally, I think it's very refreshing to follow a show that has an ending planned and filmed before the first episode even airs, so I hope they keep it up! :D
For those who have no idea what I'm talking about:
Harper's Island (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R-SECdA2kYM) - Aired last spring/summer, a horror series in 13 intense episodes.
Happy Town (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ajZuzQOUoo0) - Premiered last week and will have 7 more episodes.
Persons Unknown (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pYw8QNMH6IY) - Premieres in June, 13 episodes, and looks very promising!
Anyone going to follow Happy Town or Persons Unknown?
What format do you think is good for shows?
