Favorite bosses

I loved the Black Waltz. They were I dunno, they seemed like classic baddies and knowing there was another tougher one just gave a kinda mystery like "oh snap, whats' that one gonna be like?"

What was your fav boss in IX?

I agree with the Black Waltz fights. They were pretty good. Zidane solo-ing the first one and Vivi going ballistic on the second (or was that third?) were the highlights.

The Beatrix fights were fun too and the penultimate one against Trance Kuja was epic. I loved the music that went with it.

I agree about the Black Waltz fights, if only for Steiner's exasperation about fighting them after you defeat the third one on the ship.

The boss fight with Lani. She shows up once after than and then disappears of the face of the planet.

You can see her and talk to her briefly in Madain Sari on Disc 4 if you don't have Amarant (and Garnet I think) in your party.

I do love Trance Kuja. I thought he looked awesome. Can we call him a boss? Well... he wasn't the final boss, so.

I enjoyed most of those things you needed to fight to get to Terra, too, but that part of the game seemed to go by so fast.

Deathgaze was pretty nice too... Good battles, even though they were not difficult, it was entertaining =)!

I liked the Black Waltz's. I thought it was kind of cool that they were the elites of the Black Mage army. Gizamaluke was a pretty cool boss too.

All the fights with Beatrix were cool.
I really enjoyed fighting Tantarian though because it actually requires some strategy and careful planning especially if you take him on Disc 2.

The four fiends, Trance Kuja and Necron were all very climatic and interesting battles.
