It has probably been at least a year since I started a new thread.
Anyway, I bought a new guitar today, or rather was given one of my choice as a graduation gift.

'tis a Martin JC-16RE Aura. $2300. A new era of guitar-playing for me, as I now have to delve into the world of guitar maintenance such as humidifying and fretboard oiling, as now I actually have fragile, thin solid wood.
What new instruments have you purchased lately?

That's purdy, just remember not to leave it next to anything that's too hot (heater/fireplace etc.) and I doubt that it'll warp. You should make an audio clip of it.
I got my piano around Christmas time; I bought a few new crashes for my drum kit a couple of months ago; and I got my PRS quite a while back, but only recently got my amp repaired so now I can play it at my choosing.

I've had the same instruments for years now.
I really want to get myself a nice electric drumset. I've been meaning to for a year or so now.

Why was it $2300? Seems a bit much when it doesn't look much. Then again, I don't know a massive amount about guitars.
I would totally have gone for a sweet ass twelve string, if I was given free choice. They sound incredible.

Taylor's over here go for about $6,000AUD With an acoustic you need quality because if the sound is bad then you're not going to be able to mask it with effects or an amp.

All the guitars I want are out of my price range. ,_,
I was given this really nice large-ish hand carved Djembe though, and it sounds very nice.
