Jill seems to not know Barthandalus plan on the airship.
However at Nautilus she says:
"Do be careful with those. For a perfect task there is a perfect tool."
This seems to sugest she already knows everything.
If not what does it mean?

How does it at all imply she knows Barthandelus' plan? It's possible her 'perfect plan' is just whatever Bart wants her to think it is.

Reading the line again, it barely makes sense, although maybe because I don't remember the exact context in which it was delivered.

EDIT: Just found the scene on Youtube, and she says "For every task, there is a perfect tool." I'd say that the line is meant to be ironic considering how she manipulated Sazh and, later, her fate as Barthandelus' expendable tool (Jihl as the overzealous, overachieving opportunist and blind follower; perfect for a government-run cleansing campaign), but that would be giving SE's writers too much credit. I'll stick with the 'vague, meaningless BS' interpretation.

I always got the impression the perfect tool was Sahz's son. It was just to show how calculating she is. Almost like they were trying to develop her character a little.

Nah, thats crazy.

Ok, you are probably right,I give it.

By the way, that magazine page ShinGundam shows is interesting because it shows how Jillīs avatar was based on Serahīs.

I tend to think she was referring to Sahz's son and then Square made it intentionally ironic that she was just a tool of Emperor Palpatine who discarded her when he didn't need that tool anymore.
