Oyeah! I'm getting summer-vibes, which means acoustic guitars and feel-good music. Tell me what your favorite sunshine vibed melodies are!

To start off, Jack Johnson has a new album and I'm totally diggin it. Imo, way better than Sleep Through the Static. It even has guitar solo's! It's streamable here:
Listen to New Releases and Free Music CDs - Spinner (http://www.spinner.com/new-releases#/1)

Summer = concerts! High five!

I'm seeing Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes, which is exciting, because their music feels so summer-y to me! Too bad it's indoors.

Well I guess you would get those vibes. June is black music month. I'm going to see if I can make it to the festival this year.

Summer means festival time. Kerrville, Texas Scottish Festival, and WoodyFest.

There are many good summer-y songs out there!

As for music festivals - I'm going to the Roskilde Festival for the fifth time this year. Can't wait!

They sure do feel summery. Never seen them live though.

I'll be going to the Rock Werchter festival which has the Arcade Fire playing. Hope they'll play some new album stuff which will be released somewhere in august.

This song is like black people's theme song. They play this at every summer party I've been to.
Follow Me - Aly Us (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A3cfGzuICzA)

For a more obvious, less imaginative song choice there's Summertime. It's an okayish song. P. Diddy ruins it.
Summertime - Beyonce (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zMH0yvJw3FQ)

This has always been the ultimate summer song for me. It came out during the summer and I played it non-stop the entire season.
Frontin' - Pharrell (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wIBTrN5Odbg)

This song just sounds like summer.
Hey Soul Sister - Train (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kVpv8-5XWOI)

And the one I have been playing over and over during the summer since '08 thanks to Dan Dan.
Nothing Can Pull Us Apart - Pilgrims on the Mind (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bEk7q3qEkz8)
