It is alway exciting when you visit a foreign country!

When I was in the navy, I am alway excited when the ship reached a foreign port and I will alway get my camera ready for the scenery and the people that expect me!

That's great KD! You are so lucky.

Unfortunately I cannot afford to go abroad this year (I'm saving up for uni) but next year, hopefully, I'll be going to America. I'll either go to visit my step mother's and my girlfriend's family in New Jersey, or visit my girlfriend's dad, sister and best friend in California (her friend lives in Hollywood!). I'm unsure of where to go. It's a choice between the East and West coast. New Jersey is close to New York and I would love to go shopping there, namely the NBA store, but if I go California I'll go to more places (San Francisco, Berkley and LA) and I'll see the famous Venice Beach. It's a hard choice.

I would have you. (I HAD TOO, I'M SORRY, I DID)

St. Louis isn't like NYC but it is a pretty cool city. Breweries are there! And baseball! And bbq. And the arch. You'll have a good time.

Hey, I've been there too! I've also been to NYC. I prefer NYC, but not by as large an amount as Rye would like me to :greenie:

Anyway Missouri was good people when I was there so I'm sure you'll have a great time :D Also, if you're into videogames, movies, anime, or music, head out to St. Charles (it's a suburb of St. Louis) and find a store called Slackers. Dear god I want that store to succeed globally, it is awesome. They have games right back to the Master System, I mean a whole ailse of the store, racks and racks of games, for the Master System. It is beautiful and glorious and makes me want to go back.

Assuming it's still there xD

St. Louis is a touristy place, so there should be lots of stuff to do! Like Six Flags :</>D!

Go watch a baseball game there, so you can say "I saw Albert Pujols" once he's broken the Home Run Record.

St. Louis has always come across as a cool city, but I haven't had the chance to visit it properly yet.

But it's only like 1,000, maybe 1,200 miles tops away from NYC. Which is a crapton! But um, that's something.

St Louis is cool, just don't get murdered.

I spent a week there a few years ago. Well, I stayed in the rich, uppity suburb area.

I wouldn't wanna hear the crap. Well, I guess a whiny roommate doesn't need a bed, and therefore his bed can be given to you and he can have the hall.
