I myself am a huge Ogre Battle fan. March of the Black Queen was awesome, and I'd argue it one of the best SRPG's ever made.

So, the moment Ogre Battle: Person of Lordly Caliber, became available on the Wii VC, I downloaded it. HOwever, it's' not really that good.

In many ways, technically speaking, it is superior to the original, but somehow everything this game does just feels off.

I'm no Ogre Battle/Tactics Ogre expert or anything, but I'm pretty sure that one was just a "Gaiden"/Side Story/Spin-off of sorts, so maybe they just didn't put their all into it
