The other thread about the 2010 FIFA World Cup is a poll that focuses on who will win above all others, so I decided to make a separate thread about a wild moment at the previous World Cup back in 2006.

Zidane headbutt refuses to die, lives on in banned Austrian ads - Dirty Tackle - World Soccer Blog - Yahoo! Sports (http://g.sports.yahoo.com/soccer/world-cup/blog/dirty-tackle/post/Zidane-headbutt-refuses-to-die-lives-on-in-bann?urn=sow,246628)

Do you remember Zinedine Zidane, the French player who headbutted Italian player Marco Materazzi in the final match? Four years later, he still shows no regret for what he did. And after that, it inspired a whole bunch of parodies, including an advertisement that was recently banned from Austrian television, seen in the clip shown in the link above; an attractive businesswoman headbutts a co-worker. Four years later, the moment has come back to refresh us and get people excited about this year's World Cup.

It was a beautiful moment that is unlikely to be topped for many years.

So vivid! I think I was eating a supper of barbecued steaks and salad with my family watching the final, and then this happened! So great. For some reason I got all into it and wanted the French to really win it, I think I was pretty sour they lost. But I got over it later and watched the gif and had many lols.

I doubt there will be any drama this year, or at least I hope not. Either way I am very excited to watch.

Oh you mean one of the greatest players in the history of the game? Just vaguely!
