Since it's the summertime, tell where you're going to for vacation, or tell stories about previous vacations!

I went to Destin, Florida in 2004 and 2006, both times I had a fun time at the beaches, and we usually knew someone who was going to the same place, so it wasn't just me and my family.

I went to Eureka Springs, Arkansas in 2008, a really religious place in the Christian department, then we switched to the Mount. Nebo camp site in the same week, which has a couple of natural springs, and a place to see the colors of the sun rise and sun set, which is completely different than from average ground level around here.

My parents want to go to the Bahamas so that's probably where I will go.

I went to Spain last year, which was actually my first time abroad! For someone who's 25 that's actually rather sad =/

This year my parents have had some problems and can't afford a holiday, so me (lovely boy that i am) am paying to take my whole family away... it's only to skegness for a week but regardless my parents are very grateful ^_^

I'm going back home to Utah for the summer. Happy to see all my old friends and family. Sad that I won't be able to buy liquor after 7pm.

Not really sure what I'm gonna do yet, if I can afford it I'll hopefully go back to Tokyo in August and stay with the J again for a couple of weeks, there is a festival with a bunch of Japanese bands we both really like playing all on the same day so I definitely wanna make it there for that if I can. If I can't afford it, what I'll do depends on my friend Az, he is from Barbados and he has a couple of sick houses out there with swimming pools in them and all sorts of crazy awesome stuff like that. He's planning to go out to one of his places some time this year and has invited me to go with him if he does so that would be sweet. If not, then I'll probably just set about working and saving money for next year and not bother with one. I live in a Seaside town anyway so it doesn't really matter about going too far.

I'm not going anywhere this summer, I'm planning to continue my transition into becoming an old man by chasing kids around with a rake. Now I just need to get a raccoon to bite me so I can foam while doing that.

I'm past the age where summer = vacation, unfortunately. I'll be doing the same thing as any other time of year: minding the house and trying to find a job.

I already had my vacation in May, where I went to a beach house in New Jersey with some friends of mine. It was nice, though the water was very cold. We also went up to Atlantic City casinos for a day, and I won $50 at a blackjack table.

I will be working for the rest of the summer. Fortunately, I have a paid job at a local law firm.

Leaving for holiday in England for two weeks on the 24th, staying with Huxley's family and hanging out with them and all of my Eng friends! I'm so excited! I'm spending my birthday there and gonna partyyyyy! I'm gonna see Quin too!

The rest of my summer though is just work, work, and more work. That's cool though, because since I'll be living at home and commuting to a university in my area, I'm going to be keeping my job and working part-time during the school year, which means I don't have to horde all of my summer work money and live off of it during the college year. Which means I can actually spend it on leisure and nice things once and a while without worry. I'mma buy myself a Macbook for college.

Most recent vacation was just down the coast to place called Jervis Bay. It was great, but I detected hints of xenophobia from the locals who probably weren't as used to seeing asians as Sydney-folk are. Lots of people speaking really slow and loud to us and then looking surprised when we'd speak perfectly good (if not better) english in reply. My girlfriend took more offense to it than I did. She was just about ready to snap when a waitress thought it was necessary to lean over and tap her finger to the menu to ask us whether we were ready to order or not.

Me too! :(

Summer is actually the busiest time of year for me.

Might go somewhere in the winter though. New Zealand? It'll be summer there while it's winter here. And maybe The Hobbit will be filming by then and I can go sneaking around the film sets!

I got back at the start of may from Egypt. Summer is not a time to go off on holiday for me unfortunately. However I do feel like just heading down the airport buying a ticket, destination: anywhere and just losing myself in the world see how far I could go, what I could do and achieve with no plan or anything. However I will probably spend my summer viewing properties (I need to move out of my flat since breaking up with the girlfriend it's too expensive, anyone with a view to moving to London, let me know!) and working so when I am not busy doing that I might actually get to go out.

My only "vacation" this year is the Roskilde Festival, and I'm more than happy with that. It's going to be brilliant
