It's that time again, folks. I've just restarted the league, so all previous members should have gotten an email. But feel free to try even if you weren't part of this last year; if there's enough interest, I'll create a second league, and I'm people from the first league will join up as well to make any additional leagues competitive as well.

Secondly, I posted this in the Yahoo League, but in case you guys don't check that often after signing up, I need everyone's draft availability, at least for those who can't make certain dates (you can post that here if you want). Also, I brought up something that was discussed last year: the possibility of a 6-team playoff.

And now we have our 14 members! Now that we have our league roster all set, over the next week or so I'll randomly determine draft positions by my usual tradition of having my sister pull team names out of a hat.

Yeah I don't get the bad mojo that's on Fitzgerald. Sure, Warner and Boldin are gone and Leinart sucks so far, but the guy has to throw to someone. Even if Leinart only has 15 TDs this year they will all be to Fitzgerald...

Fitzgerald could have a blindfolded lineman throwing behind his back as a QB and Fitzgerald would still put up 1,000 and 10. If Randy Moss can put up good numbers with Matt Cassel at the helm, I'm not particularly worried about Fitzgerald busting.

Well it looks like I have Fitzgerald so I hope you're right. I think I did pretty good this draft, though I have some injury risk players. I don't know if Williams was the right pick at number 7 (I feel like he's a pretty big dropoff from Gore who was pick 6), but I had only thought it through the first 6 players because I thought I picked 6th! My fault for not checking the official draft order.

I at least kept true to my current philosophy that getting 3 reliable WR in the draft is more important than getting 2 reliable RB. Great RB values always pop during the season but WRs rarely do, and you need to start more of them. I do think my WR set (Fitzgerald, Colston, Driver, with Santonio Holmes after his suspension) is among the best in the league, if not the best.

The one posted here was the "official" draft order, so that's entirely my fault. I must have messed up with the drag-and-drop process of setting up the Yahoo draft order.

I don't think Williams was a bad pick at 7th. I certainly agree more with that pick than taking Matthews or Greene instead. Maybe Andre Johnson or Mendenhall.

Yeah the way Yahoo sets up ordering the draft is dumb. I've messed it up a couple times in baseball, too. No worries.

Denver did much better this week, too. Eddie Royal seems like he'll prove to be a good pick for a 4th WR.

Surprisingly, I'm more interested in the Rockies than the Broncos right now. I'm glad the Broncos won, but I don't see them winning many more games. I predict they'll go 6-10 or 7-9 at best, if they do anymore I will be surprised.

Pretty much nothing has changed in the AFC West this week. Chiefs are 2-0, Chargers/Broncos/Raiders are 1-1. Woo!
