And his name is Daniel. What kind of sick joke is this? I demand to see the person in charge of pairing people so I can kick him/her in the balls for having a :bou::bou::bou::bou:ty sense of humor.

Cabin mate I will said when I was in the navy. Sometimes after she come back from a night watch, she will strip, toss her clothes all over without looking and changes to a new set before hoping onto her bed.

I really hate waking up with her undergarments on my head the next day. :(

i had two roommates. Our room was fairly big, but 3 people to one room? I don't know how I did it...

One was a sweetheart who I still keep in touch with. The other was a messy psycho whore who took my things without permission even after asking her to stop. Wanted to cut her fingers off.

I've only had a roommate once, but it gave some whacky stories. Once we were buying a new kitchen table at Wall-mart, we got the table, lugged the package outside only to find that it didn't fit in the car. 0_o

Being the smart engineering types that we are, we said screw it, bought a lot of rope in the same Wall-mart (gotta love that place), and tied the table to the roof by rolling down the windows and basically tying it around the door panels. First and last time I went in Duke of Hazzard style, I might add.

Then we get on the road, carefully, only to remember that we have to take the highway and the table isn't too steady in the y-direction. Long story short (too late!), I spend 12 minutes hanging out with only my legs inside, not knowing whether I was keeping the table from falling onto the road, or the table keeping me from tumbling the same way.

I had a very small room and I was limited to a corner where my computer set, the top bunked bed, and a closet. I was limited to this area because my roomie had 167 pairs of shoes she brought with her, and they couldn't fit anywhere else. :|

in a strange twist of fate, I now have another roommate, Jane. Guess I'll find out what she's like in the upcoming days!

(I'm pissed that i have to share my bathroom now, though)

Roommates suck and I hate them. I live with my girlfriend now and that's fine.

I want to sleep over at your dorm now!!!

My only dorm mate was for fresh year - Paul something-or-other. We eventually ended up getting in arguments and stopped talking. But that's not the story I want to tell:

Paul was a pothead who liked rap music. This was when Eminem was new. Oh dear God. Anyway Paul, I and our friend would go smoke the weed out by the golf course next to campus. We would be like 'hey gaise we're going golfing olololol'. Eventually Paul started to smoke pot in our friend's dorm room. It started very sneaky like - with windows opened and lots of fans to prevent the smell from leaving (as if such a thing could be done). I think eventually they stopped caring and started hotboxing the place, because..

I remember it clearly. I was playing starcraft when I see two officers storm down the hallway. I continue playing until one of the guys on the floor comes over and tells me Paul is being arrested!

They bring him over to our room and question me. I feign ignorance of everything. Ultimately Paul got an infraction and a 150$ fine, but the person whose room he was in was expelled -- he had knives in his possession as well as BB guns. Also they were soaking marijuana seeds in damp cloths and managed to get roots to come out of the seed. Oh boy.

Fun times =^_^=

I had three roomates but we each had our own rooms. I am an only child most of the time and do not share well!

Anyway, one was a fat bitch. Like... very unpleasant. And she had a belly button piercing but she had to like lift her belly to see it. One of my other roomates was smoking weed with her boyfriend and she totally went down to the RA and narc'd on her. The roomate on my side, who I shared a bathroom with, was cool though. I didn't hang out with any of them anyway. I hated living in dorms, with RAs coming in for room inspections. I was like "WTF is this? My mom doesn't inspect my room!" And leaving a note that my roomate needs to straighten her room... fucking bull:bou::bou::bou::bou:.

It's not like you're adults or anything paying obscene amounts of money for an education that will not guarantee you any sort of career.

What's worse is that, at least for the University here, living in the dorms for your first year is a requirement. You have to jump through a whole bunch of hoops just to get a waiver for living off campus and sometimes that doesn't even go through correctly.

My first roommate was Joe. We got along fine, despite that he was Catholic and a jock (football player); he was reasonably intelligent and easy-going, though didn't take crap from anyone. He would get absolutely wasted every weekend, but he did it outside of our room, so I didn't care.

My second roommate was Rob, who introduced me to some future roommates (we all got an apartment together junior and senior year of college). He's a nice guy to a fault, and was good to have around because he'd actually clean. Other people I lived with (most went abroad at some point and switched out, which is why there's so many): Andrew, Dean, Ben, Steve, and Patrick. I got along with all of them except Patrick, and we still keep in touch and meet up occasionally. Patrick was ok until he stayed with us to replace someone who went abroad, when we discovered he was a completely self-absorbed jackass. He did crap like turn the heat up to 90 in the winter and complain endlessly when people didn't bow to his every whim.

My current roommate at law school is Will. He's a nice guy, though we both generally keep to ourselves and have our own separate groups of friends.

I've had a lot of roommates, and only had a problem with one rather extreme case. I'm pretty very laid back offline and it takes a lot to actually bother me, so I can generally get along with anyone.

Also, we didn't have RA room inspections in my freshmen dorms (except during breaks when we weren't there anyway).

Haha. I've had a few room mates now. My first was a guy I went to boot camp, combat training, and MOS school with. It was at school we shared a room. He was pretty cool. No real exciting stories though.

The second one I absolutely hated. He was also an MOS schoolmate. But I was married by that point, so I just had to go out and find an apartment. Was out of there in a couple months.

Third and most recent. He actually just left yesterday. I now have a room to myself. :D Anyways, he was pretty chill too. We both went out and got trashed on a fairly regular basis, so we didn't mind each others drunken messes. We each took the time to clean them up when we were sober, so it worked.
We would also turn the lights and air on and off on each other. We did it just the right amount so that it was always funny and never got annoying.

I can't wait to get back to my favorite roommate. My wife.

I've been to summer camp twice.

First roommate was when I was 14. She was very odd and deaf. However, she would never shut up, so it got to where I'd tell her to give me a piece of paper so I could write replies to what she was asking instead of trying to mouth it to her. Fuck that. Pleasant experience overall.

Second roommate was a totally fucking bitch. She was a Hollister wearing, perfect haired, snobby little :bou::bou::bou::bou:. Needless to say, we didn't get along very well.

My first roommate was my sister I guess. She's okay.

My second roommate ever was Danielle from Chappaqua, NY. She was a sluuuuuuuuuut. One night we'd left our windows open and she went out. I woke up later to the sound of the blinds banging against the window. I rolled over to fix it and she is drunk off her ass riding some dude for all she's worth, saying "I am so sick. I'm gonna puke," and he says "I'm almost there baby."

This went on for four hours. I was in and out. In the end he gets up, puts on his pants and says "I feel sorry for your roommate."

I rolled over and said "I feel sorry for your dick, dude." That scared the :bou::bou::bou::bou: out of him.

My second roommate was Pakonis. She is one of the best people I've ever met. I love her.

My third roommate was Kelly. She was 17, WASPy, didn't drink. I was 20. We met when I came in drunk. But I'd brought a fan and we didn't have A/C so we were cool, I guess? She was weird.

My fourth roommate was Norjai. She could've broken me in two but we both loved top model.

My fifth roommate was Shatericka. She's adorable and hilarious. She likes the Lion King and vodka. I liked her.

After that I had no more roommates. I lived alone.

My first roommate was a Jewish guy from Scarsdale. Generally an all-around obnoxious fellow, dumb as a box of rocks. We managed to remain civil regardless, until he owed me about $150 at the end of the year and I had to bitch him out until he paid up. We'd bought a futon together with the agreement that he'd take it and pay me at the end of the year. I wouldn't have gone in on the deal if he hadn't assured me that his parents were aware of the deal (it was purchased with their credit card) and the money was coming from them. Valuable life lessons about assholes: learned.

My second roommate was a friend from freshman year. I lasted two weeks before I moved out into another dorm. He was a good guy, but the kind of person you handle in small doses. As much as I like the kid, I would have ended up killing him living together.

Third roommate was a guy who had returned to school after being away for two years. Generally not the brightest dude ever. I'll remember him for walking into the room to see him sitting on the carpet bare-assed jerking it while watching porn on his computer (it was sitting on his bed). I made sure to knock every time I entered the room thereafter.

Got three roommates now that I've known since freshman year. Great guys. We all have our own rooms (and bathrooms) so that certainly helps. Plenty of stories about them, but I'm done for now.

I've only had one roommate and that's the girl I'm living with now. Her name is Jette. We went to High School together (in the same class) and have been great friends since then. We're both easy-going and tolerant, so getting along is not difficult. We actually have quite similar personalities, and pretty much share the same friends.

We laugh a lot, which is nice.

Well I've never had random room mates but I once lived in a house share in east london. The house was full of Polish people apart from me. The rooms either side of mine were filled with women (3 girls) Aga and 2 Monika's that was fun probably because they were all hot and they all seemed to like wearing very skimpy/little/no clothing.

First roommate was Matt, only had him for a semester. Next was an obnoxious guy named JC who smelled bad. Than my good friend Andrew for a year, and then I had a room to myself in college. This summer I had two guys I sort of knew named Nathan and Jordan, and after a kitchen fire got us out of the house I've been staying with a friend named Cody.

Exciting.

This whole shared dorm thing sounds interesting. We don't have it here (not that I know of anyway) so I have no experience with it (and I got really lucky and got my own apartment when I moved to Lund). Well, we do have something like it, in the sense that people have their own rooms and bathrooms but share the kitchen. Never lived in a room like that, though.

My first roommate grew paranoid I jerked off to him and then became angry when he found out I didn't think he was attractive. He filed a complaint with the RA stating I "looked" at him, and then whined that I never looked at him until the day he moved...across the hall. Now he was 2 feet away, where I could certainly never see him again. My second one was a hipster that predated all other hipsters. After that, I lived with people I chose, so that's good.
