That's right, speeches. The nice little icing for the ciddies that you, the members contribute to make this happy fun time the best it can be. Post here to commit yourself to one or two and then when you are done PM them to Award Guy so he can post them during the revelations thread. Just a couple reminders, you can't write a speech for a category you are nominated for, and if you say you are writing a speech and fail to complete it, then Tavrobel will have to do it last minute like he always does and he has unofficial full permission to beat you up a bit for it. Also those nominated for best writer should do at least two speeches, because if they can't then they really are not very good writers. :colbert:

And yeah, I do usually get stuck with half of the speeches. Last time, I did 26 of them. That's more than half, by the way, and in case you did not notice, I do not slouch on my speeches. I put the time and dedication to introduce these awards and the nominees. It's a matter of the event running smoothly, and frankly, I just don't give a :bou::bou::bou::bou: what you think if you're not going to help. So, either you can get crackin' or bugger off.

I don't need people whining and bitching about stupid :bou::bou::bou::bou: when I'm not around simply because "omg we needed someone to do this, but we're all lazy smurfs and we didn't think ahead." Yeah, sorry that I care enough to get it done and that you don't. I'm not touching Best Member or Best Male. If they don't get in by deadline, that's the writer's damn fault. They shouldn't promise something that they can't produce, especially for the higher-end awards. If it only takes a few hours to write a proper speech, then it could just as easily be done earlier instead of later. No excuses, not for the last seven.

Also, in regards to the Members speech, looking at the members list, I can definately put together something passable, though if anyone wants, my weakest entries for the speach are going to by Rye, Ranzt, and Jesweee (Which is odd, cause I actually talk to her from time to time on MSN. :p), so to make sure everyone gets some good entries in this thing, if anyone could help by getting those three it would be greatly appreciated.

Alright, I have every other person done. However, I find myself at a complete loss now for these ones.

Anything I write for them would truly be flimsy at best, as these guys are the ones who had a bit of a rise to noteriety after I started paying less attention here.

I know they've all done a lot, but my lack of knowledge prevent me from giving them any kind of decent entry into the speech, and they deserve way more then what I can give them. I'll go ahead and send what I have to AG, but we still need some kind of portion for those four people.
