Going alone to see it on Monday. None of my friends wanted to go with me, although I know that at least half of them have already gone and seen it without me. :Oo:

Not ashamed to admit that I liked the first two movies. The romantic side of me! I know they're not great artistic epics, but I still enjoy the relentless, fluffy, drama. So much drama! Drama! Drama! You probably know about all of the drama.

..Romance?

>_< well okay.

Fluffy drama shouldn't be in a vamp movi.....

I'm going to stop that now!! XD

I'll go with you!! If I could! I'm heading in to town tomorrow with seven other mates :) read the book, forgotten all of what happens other than some great big wolfy-bad vampy battle, victoria's an insane biatch, annnnd some more jacob-bella angst crap. Come on, Jacob > Edward. Ed's not really that good looking anyway.

:D hope you enjoy it!! Buy loads of popcorn and put it on the seat next to you - who needs FRIENDS :mad2:

I haven't read any of the books, and I don't really want to. I'm not that invested. Liked the other two movies. I'm thrilled to see that there's just a little more action in this one, and a little less angst.

This will fill my vampire needs until season two of Vampire Diaries airs in September. :D

I saw it the day before yesterday and enjoyed it far more than I should have. It's incredible what a different director can do. :p

It's definitely the "best" Twilight film so far. :)

I refuse to give money for any of this crap. Though everyone I know who is not an obsessive fanboy has said the first couple were hilariously bad, so it might be worth seeing (downloading) at some point.

Eh. It's not "so bad it's fun to watch" like the previous two. It's just a mediocre film with really, really, really awkward dialogue exchange and lovey-dovey scenes. I cringed way more than I laughed.

I'm still unsure why the director of the best vampire movie ever (imo) would do a movie like this, but I guess he likes money + vampires regardless if they are sparkling fairies.

New Moon sucked really bad. I really don't know why I bothered with it. As soon as I saw the trailer that featured an oversized wolf I should have backed off. This one actually looks some what legit interesting, but I am probably just bias because it's David Slade and 30 Days of Night is amazing so was Hard Candy.

I also can't fathom how a writer of one of the best shows ever could produce such crappy scripts, but I just presume she wrote all of Rita's dialogue.

That is a lie! Vampire Diaries have a much deeper story, and much better actors. Kinda thought the same thing at first, but it really surprised me. Fans of the show knows how unfair that comparison is, as it is simply not true. :D

I watched it yesterday, and although yes it was better than the last few and it had some okay battle scenes, I thought it was all a bit rushed (though, it was what..two hours or something?). The battle scenes didn't last long enough, and there was too much Bella on the screen. I still like a few of the characters, but none of them are main enough to get that much screentime. It was a little corny (i.e. every word out of Bella's mouth) and my mate was even laughing out loud at some of the "serious" scenes. I didn't like the replacement for Victoria - she looked very similar but didn't act like how I thought the original would have.

Sure there was more to say about this trainwreck..I mean, okay film. Why it sells so well I don't know..but at least we were in the luxury suite with leather sofas and alcohol if I were old enough. . .The popcorn fight was worth it though - free popcorn because my mate's bro works there :p it wasn't funny when it got in my hair though :(

I watched the first one because I had to see what the fuss was about (I also watched it again with a friend while we both...let's say...under the influence; just for lols) and after that I said "okay, I get it. There is no way that this couldn't appeal to young teenage girls, but it's a horrible smurfing movie." As I am NOT a young teenage girl, I did not see the sequel and I will not be seeing this.

I don't even understand that. How could you NOT understand hate for Breaking Dawn? Strangely, I've actually read the four books. My old girlfriend lent me the first three and I sat down and read all them bad boys, thinking, "Well, this is a simple, sleezy-minus-any-sex read" and then I walked outside into the world and holy crap, people were not seeing it for the simple, sleezy little read that I had.

I ended up reading the fourth book when it came out just to see what could possibly happen to Bella and her smurfed up little love triangle from Hell. AND OH MY GOD, I wish I had gouged my eyes out instead, to spare myself the expense of my curiosity. The fourth book was a trauma-fest of disturbing psuedo-sex scenes, plot points that I would expect from fanfiction.net and not a published book, and fun little vampire biology that consisted of a horrifying vampire baby needing its placenta chewed through.

Who in the world could possibly think this was good reading material? Maybe if the baby started killing off everyone in the town after its placenta was chewed through, making it consistent with the horror genre you would assume of such DISTURBING CRAP, but no, it becomes a loving daughter with a name that made me vomit a little.

To be fair, Eclipse was my favorite of the four books, mainly because it wasn't 500 PAGES OF TALKING. So that's not saying much. I liked the newborn vampires, they were a cool idea. I guess. I'm trying to not sound so angry, okay?

And yes, I will see Breaking Dawn when the movie comes out, because I sort of just want to see how they handle the destructo-baby breaking Bella's spine thing, and the blood-gore fest that is Edward pulling out a baby while Bella's all Nightmare C-Sectioned with all her bones broken. Someone should just gouge my eyes out now.

Actually, they're talking about making it into two movies. Double the disturbing therapy-inducing fun! I'm going on opening night to the first one to see how the bed-breaking sex scene works out, and whichever film has the C-Section Horror Sequence in it.

I want to see if the fangirls will still gush over oh how hot he is when Edward is pulling a Super-Gro monster baby out of the cut open and broken body of his wife. And they totally will. These people cannot be deterred.

Also, can you just imagine that creepy-looking guy who plays Jacob staring passionately at a little baby? I just... this movie is not going to work out well. There's no way for it to NOT be a trainwreck.

It says in the books. Vampires, according to Mormon lore, are rock hard, cold as ice, sparkle in direct sunlight (but not any other light), don't have fangs, do have "venom, and sound like metal when you tear them. They have black eyes when they're hungry, red eyes when they drink people, and golden eyes when they only drink animals so as to reflect their hearts of gold.

I so want Sam Raimi to direct the upcoming one. Screw Bill Condon (sp?) BD needs to be a horror comedy.

What confuses me the most is the fans that read all the books saying that Jacob loves Bella more than Edward. It's like well, if you read the last book you'd know that the dude was actually in love with her unborn baby the entire time. Yet, they're still all, "OMFG JACOB AND BELLA!"

I want there to be an alternative version of Breaking Dawn where Bella tells both Edward and Jacob off for being control-freaks, she goes to college, becomes a bio-engineer and eventually cures cancer and AIDs while marrying an activist and adopting five children from abusive households.

Or maybe one where she just tells them off and goes to college and DOESN'T GET MARRIED AND HAVE A BABY AT 18.

I lost all hope for Bella in New Moon anyway. I wanted her to go all rebel and ride motorcycles and do dangerous things to get back at Doucheward, not so that she could hallucinate his sweet sweet voice. Blah. And when he came back she could've at least been a little pissed.
