The Museum also mentions "PuPu" refers not just to a single creature but an entire race, which may have earned their name from the sound made when they walk.

So, do anyone wanna see a whole bunch of PuPus in later games!? :bigsmile:

PuPu appears on the place of Balamb Garden after completing the UFO sidequest.

This is the sidequest that Enc-None was made for.

Externally, it's an in-joke poking fun at various oddball theories that aliens have been multilating lifestock or resposible for the pyramids of Egypt and the moai on Easter Island.

Internally, it doesn't make much sense, other than to suggest PuPu is collecting samples of some kind, except we see little evidence of pyramids or moai on this version of earth outside of this subquest.

Basically it's a throwaway gag, much like the Obel Lake monster, which is clearly a reference to the Loch Ness monster.

Oh, and I like PuPu.
