So this song plays at the begining of the game where tidus is playing blitzball and sin attacks zanarkand.
also heard the same song in a youtube video of somone fighting a boss inside sin.
i was thinking the band might be machinehead since the vocalist sounds similar.
anyone know what band that is and the name of the song?

The name of that song is Otherworld. It was composed/written by Nobuo Uematsu and performed by Bill Muir, a former frontman of a straight edge band.
I guess it might sound a bit influenced by machinehead, lol

Yup is Otherworld by Nobuo Uematsu, not Korn or machinehead.
You can see it on my blitz video

Come on, quidditch has that awful rule about the snitch, you could be a gazillion to one and still have to play till someone catches the darn thing :roll2

Or Rammstein. 75% of people who have heard Rammstein will think it sounds like them.

Guilty. :jess:
I never understood the reason for that song in the game. Everything else is all instrumental and soft and that is... I don't even know. It kind of took me out of the fantasy.
