I'm always curious about where people online live, what sort of housing they live in and who they live with. Share, share!

I live in a house with my boyfriend, his brother and my good friend (who is also male :/) in Idaho. Men have their smurfy issues, but I'd still take male roommates over female roommates any day. XP

I live at home with my mom helping her take care of my grandmother. My little brother and his girlfriend live in the basement.

What part of Idaho do you live in? I'm right off the border in Spokane, WA.

Still living with my parents, but it doesn't really bother me. A lot of people frown when I tell them I still live at home. What's there to frown about? It's a fairly big apartment, especially since my brother and younger sister moved out. In fact, I plan on taking over the apartment someday, when my folks decide to make our house in the Philippines their permanent residence.

I live with my girlfriend of four years in a one bedroom apartment located in the conservative backwaters of Colorado. It is a rather tiny apartment compared to our previous digs, but it works for us because we are both poor college students without jobs or a lot of stuff.

We are getting pet rats soon though.

I have my own flat but I'm moving out of it in September. I may have to spend a short time living at my mom's before moving on to a new place. I'm hoping not to have to but I am afraid I won't have a choice.

I live with my husband in his grandparents' very nice four bedroom house near Disneyland. About a year ago they moved into an assisted living apartment so they could have 24 care and live closer to their daughters (BJ's mom and aunt). Since BJ and I lost our jobs (though he got a new one since then) and they have this house that they don't want sitting empty, we get to live in it. So it's pretty win-win. Other than, y'know, BJ's grandparents would rather not be falling apart and unable to take care of themselves.

I live in a suburban house with my parents, sister, two birds, three doggies, and a lot of fish. I might get an apartment in the city with some chicas once school starts up again just for convenience sake.

I was living with some of my best girls (the parties we HAD!), but then I moved back home for a few months to work a job I really enjoy. But after living on your own, living at the parents' place is UNBEARABLE. I'm going crazy right now.

But in August I'm moving into this tiny little two story apartment with the boyfriend, our kitten Robot, and one of our closest friends. It's bound to be good times, basically a huge environmentalist-atheist-fest. If anyone wants to burn some bras and buy some bamboo, come to my place. Oh, and there's alcohol too.

I would think that bra burning in such a small enclosed space couldn't lead to anything good.

I live by myself in a house, my best friend used to room with me but he became poor and had to move back in with his parents. It goes alright, the neighbours don't mind me making lots of noise, and it's awesome for throwing parties.

Would you like some little bamboo sticks to stir your vodka? Or we can just pour it straight down your throat, we're not picky here.

We are getting pet rats soon though.

Rats are such amazing pets. They are incredibly easy to take care of and fun to cuddle with. My wife is the small animal specialist at our local Petco, so we have three.
And we all live in a too small apartment in a not terrible but not great part of San Diego. We will be moving into a small house or duplex soon though. Perhaps in Poway or Escondito.
Eventually, after I leave the service, we will move back up to Washington and find us a nice place. :D

In a 3-2 house with a nice yard in the suburbs of the greater Austin area.

Others who lay claim to the house are:

The Hubby, whos leaves the toilet seat up.
A FAT cat called Kaz, who tries to eat the coffee table.
A skinny cat called M who stalks the windows.
A little white bunny called Yugi who scares the crap out of the cats.
A big brown bunny who scares the crap out of Yugi.
A fig tree in the backyard that is currently fruiting.

...I should learn to cook with figs.

Oh, God, the toilet seat issues.

Okay, the default position of the toilet seat is down and it's not so incredibly difficult to finish taking a pee and just lower the stupid seat.

One time when I was a kid, I went into the bathroom really late at night to empty my bladder and my dad had left the toilet seat up. Needless to say, I near fell in. :( I've had vendetta against toilet-seat-leaver-uppers ever since.

I moved back home to recover after a roommate ruined my finances. My sister quit her job and refuses to find another one. My brother lost his job due to alcoholism and spent all his retirement before losing his car and apartment and moving home. Almost went to jail on child support. And can't hold down a real job. He's in a temp service now and barely ever stays a whole day at the place he works. What little money he makes gets eaten up by child support. And my dad's dead. I don't feel right leaving my mom to take care of those two alone. So I get the whole second floor of the house she's buying. Its a live-in attic. Its almost an apartment. Just a few missing necessities. I'd rather get out and live my life. But unless someone wins the lottery or my family pulls their collective head from their anuses, I'm probably stuck for a while. And let me tell you. Women do not understand that crap

Also I put the toilet seat down. Toilets just look weird with the seat up. Though I also like to have the lid down. So it goes hand-in-hand

And now you all know way too much about me, and you all must die. Sorry

Where in Washington are you looking to move? :D

I am likely to move back to Vancouver, or perhaps Battle Ground. Maybe someplace upriver like Stevenson or Lyle.

Though we might end up somewhere on the coast too. In either Washington or Oregon.

For now though, I am trying to find a new place in San Diego. Hopefully somewhere by the ocean, like Solana Beach or Pacific Beach.

I live in a semi-detached 3 bedroom house with my parents and an older brother, oh and Phoebe my beloved cat. In the 'nice end' of St Helens, which is situated in North-West England.

Come October though, I'll be living in a dorm in the University of York. I'm gonna have a Phoebe shrine, it's going to kill me being away from her.

I live with my parents and brother in the suburbs of downstate New York, not too far from Manhattan. We have a four bedroom (well, 3 bedrooms, and one is a sort of guest bedroom suite downstairs) house.

I used to live away for college, but now I live at home since I transferred. I'll probably live here for god knows how long. Can't afford an apartment because they're all $1000+ for studios, unless you live way out in the boondocks. I'd rather just save up money than do that though.

It's a decent arrangement. I pay for my car insurance and gas, and that's really it for any major expenses. I have room for my sewing machine so I can continue my business all year round now. It's pretty OK.
