All you need is an emulator (http://emulator-zone.com/doc.php/snes/zsnes.html) and a FF6 rom (http://www.coolrom.com/roms/snes/679/Final_Fantasy_VI.php)

No matter what other people tell you here, this one's the best. Have fun !

Welcome!

Also, FF1-6 can be emulated, FF1-8 can be downloaded on PC, and FF9-12 can be bought online or at some rare retail stores for REALLY cheap.

And sure, if you'd want to :O

Welcome to EoFF. I guess it's no big deal if you've registered here and you haven't played any of the games. After all, the name of the place only suggests that we have our 'eyes on' the games. xD

Judging by your name, I'd guess you are most interested in playing FFX. It's not possible to download that game, you'd have to play it on a PS2 or a PS3 with backward compatibility. The newer PS3's can't play PS2 games. :mog:

and welcome!

Final Fantasy I-VI, have many different versions, ranging from games on the NES, SNES, PSOne, GBA, PSP, and DS. The NES and SNES versions can be easily ROM'ed simply by searching google for said ROMs and a SNES/NES emulator (Note: I-III are for the NES and IV-VI are for the SNES, also note you might find Final Fantasy IV, and VI as Final Fantasy 2 and 3. This is due to the fact that FFII, III, and V originally were not released in America. You will not have these problems if you purchase the games). I won't get into the GBA, PSP, and DS versions as they're still and production so the copyrights mean much more to the individual companies/Square-Enix.

Final Fantasy VII, VIII, IX have versions that can be purchased for PS1, PC (except Final Fantasy IX, which is not available for PC), and is available for downloaded of the Playstation Network making them available for both PSP and PS3.

Final Fantasy X, and XII can be purchased for the PS2. That is all.

And Final Fantasy XIII can be purchased for the PS3, or XBox360. That should answer just about all of your questions.

EDIT: But JUST IN CASE: Final Fantasy XI has versions available on the PS2, XBOX360, and PC, but I wouldn't bother buying that when Square's releasing they're new MMO in September, FFXIV which will be available for PC, and PS3, a port for XBOX360 has been discussed, but not formally announced. Final Fantasy Mystic Quest is an RPG for the SNES which can be easily emulated (not so easily found for the original SNES though!) and Final Fantasy Tactics is an RPG for the PS1, which has been released on the Playstation Network just like FFVII-IX were. The game has a sequels available on GBA. Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles is a game for the Gamecube. fuck that game though.

*phew*

EDITGA: Oh and FFX-2 is for the Playstation 2, but that game is failsauce.
