This is a pathetic attempt to make up for the lack of obviously superior awards in the Ciddies, which will unfortunately get 1/3 of the total votes. You should all still be ashamed of yourselves.

I think I might have to go with my April Fools prank reveal for best GC thread (it counts even though it was moved to Archives, right?), just out of how much fun I had. I already qualified that those were only my posts and that I would look for others' posts later, so kudos for reading comprehension. :p It's far quicker and easier just to search through one's own worthwhile posts; I only did a once-over of my own rep history, which took a couple of minutes. Searching through everything else takes time. I can only hope that everyone nominates their own worthwhile posts so that people have a lot to choose from for the voting round.

Not at all. The thread I posted was the first thing that came to mind when thinking of Best Post, the fact that I had posted in it had nothing to do with it, if that's what you're referring to.

But what I meant was it would be tough for anybody to be honest in submitting a Best Thread if they had to worry about whether or not they had posted in the thread of their choice, if that makes any sense.

If you're able to wait a bit longer I can see what I can do regarding getting a list of posts that were made this year and received at least two reputation things.

And yeah, generally the way finalists were created in the Best Post Ciddie were people "teaming up" and agreeing on a specific post. It was pretty rare that two people would opt for the same post unless it was a very recent one.
