79! How did you get so many? You have a map handy? I couldn't even spell that many countries if you even gave me the names.

I managed 110 countries out of 195!

I got 175, but that's mostly because I've taken this quiz at least 10 times before :p I pick up some new names every time I take it. The map is so cluttered though! There's not much help in it. I forgot obvious ones such as Japan and Czech Republic :}

I'm still holding the record!

Now let's just wait for Yeargdribble to come in.. :colbert:

144. I got so caught up trying to figure out West Africa, Central Asia, and the Pacific that I derp'd and forgot Ireland, Poland, the Czech Republic, and Greece, among a couple others in Europe. lawl. At least I got all the ones in Central Asia :jess:

I got about 67. I've had no sleep and I missed a ton of easy ones so that's probably why.

Apparently my mind wants to forget British people, because it took me until the 30 second mark to enter in United Kingdom.

I forgot some obvious ones like Chile, Belgium, and India.

77. It took me so long to remember how to spell some! And some that I thought were, like Yemen, weren't going through. Apparently I am missing some chunk of history.

91, although I wasted tons of time trying to figure out how to spell a lot of them.

There are tons of countries I've never, ever heard of before, apparently. o__O

I remembered Czech Republic but I forgot how to spell it. :( I suck at spelling.

90 sans help. I got places like the Cape Verde Islands and Liectenstein, but forgot Ireland. Also, the United Kingdom is not a fucking country! (the first country I entered was Wales and nothing happened :mad2:)

I expected it to be a Scotsman who started with that nonsense tbqh.

I got 89, but I completely spaced on most of Asia. I also spent a really big chunk of time trying to enter in Venezuela.

bahahahah this reminds me of a recent incident at work.. we were standing in the staff kitchen getting our morning coffees when hannah brought up australia being knocked out of the world cup. "guess we have to go for nz now," she said, to which i replied, "you know they're ranked like 153rd in the world? i didn't even know there were 153 countries in the world!" hannah smirked at me and goes, "i bet i could name all of them!"

this followed by the four staff in our office spending the first good two/three hours of the day attempting to compile the longest list of countries without looking at a map/googling/cheating etc. hannah did win, though she only got 130ish.

but anyways. that's the end of my story :p

I got 86. A few I didn't realize were countries (or widely accepted areas) in their own right.

A lot I remembered from sixth grade geography... Some I remembered because of EoFFers (Bleys for example)

186/195 (no geography academic experience of any kind! Just a world map on the wall my entire life.)

The ones I missed:

Switzerland (really - I've even been there)
Kosovo
St. Kitts and Nevis
Maldives
Timor-Leste
Palau
Micronesia
Marshall Islands
Nauru

Nauru is the only one I had never heard of.

65 :jess: I missed a lot of obvious ones. Isn't there supposed to be a New World Order or something to make this easier for me? These secret tyrants are taking decades.

117. I missed a few obvious, including a couple I could've sworn I actually entered in (the Philippines, Turkey, and Czech Republic). I suppose I may have typo'd and not realized it didn't take. Or I could be imagining things.

69.

My strategy was to think of all many sportspeople as I could and put in their nationalities (after I had done the obvious ones, of course).

Did anyone else feel proud when they spelt one of the -istan countries correctly?

Laddy
07-28-2010, 09:11 AM
I got all of them :p

Madame Adequate

Up to 173. But this time I missed some I had last time around, so intent was I on remembering everyone in the Caribbean. :p Sorry Belgium, you just suck! Also would have got Solomon Islands if I had tried Solomon instead of Soloman, herpaderp.

I thought I was doing pretty well with 65, but some of you people are just assholes.

My mind blanked too much on Europe; I missed like half of those that I should have put down easily. I got most of Asia though. I probably shouldn't've given up with six minutes left but I got bored. xP

Ha, I got 48 and thinking of just that many was very difficult for me. xD

I didn't even know some of those places existed.

I got all 195 countries today!

Actually I was referring to spelling countries such Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, and Kyrgyzstan initially.

I took this test a second time and got 101/195. Moving up in the world! This time I remembered more obvious ones like India and South Africa.

I'm surprised that one of the few Arab countries I remembered was Azerbaijan. And yet, I forgot where Borat lived for the first one.

Okay so what the hell, England, Wales, Scotland, Holland, they aren't countries all of a sudden?! I barely got 20 :p

Netherlands is the "real" name for Holland. And UK is an umbrella term, I guess?
