Do you have any plants? Talk about them!

I have a lucky bamboo plant, and two Japanese planters. One is growing tiny little sproutlings of chamomile, the other I just got, so I'm waiting for the oregano to sprout.

I only keep cactus, as they can basically just sit there and live, without any effort on my part.

I have a christmas cactus in my office that is dying a slow, dry death. I am a really bad plant parent.

Don't feel bad, foa. You're not as bad as me. My cactus at work was dying a dry death, and then I tried to revive it, but just ended up killing it worse because I over watered and gave it root rot.

Now I hide it behind various things on my desk because I'm so embarassed. *cries*

I have a Mother-in-Law's Tongue on my desk at work.

Thinking about getting something that blooms flowers, though.

All I have is a Yucca palm that's slowly dying ;-; But uh, here's a picture from back in its glory days.

I have a sad bamboo story. I have two pots of bamboo, I've had them for a while. My goal is to have them be HUGE. When I was moving out of my last apartment though, I wasn't thinking and I left them in the car and they received an overexposure to sunlight. They were both really withered, but I tried really, really hard to bring them back to life.

One is gigantic now, but the other one is still sort of piddly and not growing. I've stripped some of the dying leaves, watering it occassionally, keep it in a good spot... but, it's still in a funk!

It makes me sad.

plants that get the right amount of water and sun but still try to die: pick them up out of their pot and make sure their roots have enough room. If not, replant them.

...I've had to replant one of mine twice now ;.; I guess that's a good thing but I'm running out of pots...

I have four plants. Two I brought with me to Georgia, the aforementioned extraordinary grower, and a little one that hasn't really done much (But lola loves to knock it over, so I had to put it on top of the refrigerator xD)

I have a peace lily from my grandfather's funeral that is ginormous. My parents are taking care of it for the summer. I drove it down to their house in my car and it took up the entire passenger seat. It had five flowers on it when I left!

I have a little jade plant that was the first plant I got in stu and mine's apartment last year because it was so lonely living by myself all summer. It actually really helped :x just knowing there was another living thing besides the spiders and crickets inside. My mom went to check my mailbox and said it was kinda wilty looking xD I hope it's okay when I get back.

I also have a bunch of fake plants that we got from my brother's girlfriend when she was going through her deceased mother's house. I'm not sure what to do with them-- the real ones are much better! although more bugs.

I don't have a green thumb at all... Flowers wilt and plants shrivel as I walk past them....

Lillies are super poisonous to dogs, I think. Or at least, they are to cats. =O

... d'oh! XD

EDIT: I bought another Japanese planter. It's addictive. This one is a Nyokki. This one grows grass that you can cut into special hairstyles!
