Just because Pope Benedict XVI looks like Palpatine doesn't mean you have to be scared of him. I'm sure he's a pretty nice guy behind that exterior of his.

His power actually comes from that rediculous hat he wears. So if he's wearing it run in fear and prey to him that his ultimate pope death ray of life dosent hit and kill u. Unless your already dead in wich case you will be revived. But without the hat he's just a silly old man.
