=)
My dad got me a kitten yesterday, he's very hyperactive, we're not sure what to call it though. Any ideas cat names? He's a black & white cat.

Also, it is normal that some things smell different now, isn't it?

Name it Stallone.

Depends on what smells different. Cats are prone to pissing on whatever they feel like.

:D It's litter trained already, and like the air feels different to me

Could be the litter maybe. I've heard male cats spray their territory, not sure if it's true though. I've only had females so I'm uneducated in that area.

Oh yeah, cause their feces smells bad. But it covers it up to hide the smell abit.

Name it Robot, in honor of my kitten that has been missing for 8 days

The reason why I only keep birds is because they do not smell, and have tons of personality. I've had cats before, though. Like five at one point.

I have a tuxedo kitty who really doesn't have a name, but I call her Pretty Kitty Girl, so I suppose that's as close as you get to a name xD We believe her to be pregnant, as she's gained weight and her belly feels...pregnant is the best way to describe it.

All great names :D
8 days? How are you copeing? Our cat went missing for about an hour today, he was hiding under the sofa, i was really worried :(
And this cat is the last of the litter, so it's quite scrawny, and doesn't drink alot :/

Oreo since he's black and white, or you could call him Barack Obama for the same reason.

Haha, Oreo does sound nice though!

My 2 are called moogle, as when we picked him up for the first time he was 4 weeks old and curled into a ball looked like a tabby shaded moogle and Maw named after a game on XBLA featuring a purple alien that eats everything. Maw is a tabby blob that eats everything :D

We have 4 cats at my moms they all have tradtional names: Felix, Jess, Monty and Henry (he's a tortoishell tabby manx cat which means he naturally has no tail and was adopted by my 3 year old niece when she found out he was living as a stray because he wasn't wanted on an estate) we used to have another cat called Judge who like Felix, Jess and Monty (in fact they're all related, they were all born of the same parents in different Felix is eldest, Judge came next, then Jess and Monty were in the same litter, Monty was the runt of the litter and was given to us for free as he was the last one left and the breeder didn't want another cat running round their house all of them are black and whites, the only one to take after the male father cat was Judge who came out with long hair) was a black and white, however Judge unfortunately got poisoned by some idiot who regardless of the fact that there are around 40+ cats in my area what keep rodents and vermin down by hunting them put rat poison down intentionally or otherwise. He didn't survive the toxic shock and died at the vets.

I suggest naming your cat something awesome but avoid going with a spur of the moment name based on a computer game character if you're likely to regret it because they can live for some 15+ years and really do only respond to the name you give them after a while.

Clo I hope Robot turns up safe and well soon!

I own a cat vicariously through my girlfriend. He's named Pudding and he's a real mean jerkoff, but that's why we love him. He used to get in a lot of fights with the neighbour cats until he was neutered. Now he doesn't even want to go outside anymore. He just lounges around by the windows, catchin' rays now. Nothing smells better than a sunbaked cat.

Black and white? You gotta call him Moo.

My favorite cat names were my high school English teacher's cats: Rosencrantz and Guildenstern.

My future cat will probably be named Cat.

BORING.

Unless you name him Catatonic and called him Cat for short.

Chickenbutt.

I love my cat. I get to see her again sunday/monday <333333333333333 LOLA!!!

Also, she makes my apartment smell different. She makes it smell like home. It was weird and animal-smelly before, and when she's away for a while, it goes back to that kind of smell. but Lola smells like warm, spicy, homey smell. I mean, her poop still stinks, but it's in the backroom, and doesn't seem to travel (I think...)
