Does smashing the guitar on people's head while yelling some alien languages counts as playing? http://i274.photobucket.com/albums/jj243/ERRemington/rocker.gif
Oh ya, I nod my head like 100 times per second. http://i196.photobucket.com/albums/aa282/VAMPIRADELANOCHE666/ROCKER.gif

I have taken lessons for the recorder, guitar and saxophone in that order. I enjoyed playing the latter two but my disdain for music lessons overall and bad teachers killed it for me.

I've played baritone during 2 years in high school. Right now I'm trying to learn the piano by myself. I need a lot a time and practice... in fact I need a teacher

If I forced myself to, I can read piano. However I don't play with the fluency of people who play frequently and regularly. =)

Once upon a long ago, I was an acceptable piano player. Alas, those days have long since passed.

I played the violin in elementary school and bass as a teenager.
I've always wanted to play the sax, and I think someday I'll see out someone to teach me. However, in the near future sometime I will be purchasing a harmonica. I'm super excited.

On Saturday night BJ let me play with his shaker.
That is not a euphemism either! For once!

flute, whistle (like penny whistles etc), recorder, guitar, accordian (not very well) and I have been known to play drums when drunk at open band nights. We totally rocked

I played alto sax when I was a kid, but I stopped because I hated my school's band teacher and never got back into it.

I think most people can play percussion instruments that do not require too much coordination. For example bongo drums, shakers, tamborines, etc.
What does a shaker have to do with being young though?

My main instrument is guitar, which I have been playing for about 10 years or so now. I also play drums and bass fairly well, I've been playing those for about 8 years now.
I dabble a little in piano/keyboard, I've been trying to teach myself to play for about 2 years.

I used to be able to play the recorder a little bit back in elementary school, but that's years ago now. These days I don't play any instruments, and it saddens me a whole lot. I'd love to be able to play the piano.

I was forced to have recorder lessons in primary school, such a horrible sounding instrument. I had guitar lessons at high school and ultimately quit, due to the lessons being at lunch time in school (I give up my lunch times for NOTHING) and I never wanted to go. That and I got told my hands were too small for certain chords, and it was always "Oh well Amy you do this tab instead.." so I just gave up.
I had drumming lessons at college and absolutely loved it. It was only for one term of enrichment though, then I had to do something else.

Well I may be slightly biased, but imagine the sound of about 20+ 6-7 year olds playing them. :|

No South Park recorder reference yet?
I "am able" to be play guitars and drums well enough and I can sing. Haven't been formally trained in any of it, though. :choc2:
